So I just finished watching the Peacekeeper Wars... It was definitely one of the more satisfying series finales I've seen, and I definitely understand what exsequar meant when she told me that she'd never really read fic for Farscape, because canon really does it all. There's kind of nothing more left for me right now.
Except extreme pegging fic, ha.
So, in conclusion? I cried, I whimpered, I made undignified squealing noises, I was stricken by how utterly badass they all are, I laughed, I laughed through the tears (especially at D'Argo's death, because he was just SO badass, and it was *such* a fitting way for him to go-- although I have noticed that Farscape tends to be big on the obnoxiously slow death "Oh, hey! [X] character is dying! Let's have ten minutes of emoting and dialogue and last words! No, really! [X] is dying! Watch [X] die! Still dying... still dying. Oh, hey! [X] is dead now, okay? OKAY!?" -- first Zhaan, then Moya!John, and now D'Argo. But whatever, it works for Farscape, so I am honestly not complaining).
Now I just have to recover and try to get some studying done tonight. God, what an amazing show. I kind of just want to watch it all again-- I suppose that is what the summer is for.
