Heroes 1.18, "Parasite"

That being said. Here are my reactions/meta for Heroes episode 1.18, "Parasite," in the as-it's-happening format since I'm too lazy to condense it. heroes_meta, this is where to look. Meta re: science on Heroes may or may not be forthcoming.
And I'm liking Missy Peregrym's character so far. Mostly because Missy reminds me of POOT... who's seen Stick It, c'mon now? And even when she's complimenting Mrs. Bennet it sounds like an insult!
I LOVE THE HAITIAN. I love his accent a lot. It's so musical.
At least HRG (not wearing his glasses! WTF!) makes good money. Nice Burberry, Claire.
*GASP* PETER! ...Goes running back to Nathan. Just like Claude said in that fic I read... well, at least Peter is beasting everyone with his mad invisibility skillz.
Mr. Bennet/Sandra Bennet is my NEW OTP. FOREVER.
ATTN dramaphile. Mohinder/Sylar is now known as The SS Subtext. "Just relax. Just... take a minute. I'll go out and talk to these people and come home and give you a massage and blow you. Okay, Heroes, it's time to talk. Some of this fake science, I could tolerate-- people spontaneously evolving the ability to read minds, be invisible, etc. But "paralysis of the brain"? That is what Mohinder said, right? Paralysis of the BRAIN? If I weren't already hooked, I'd stop watching. Paralysis of the brain? The brain doesn't *move*! It's wired into your *skull*! It operates via neurons firing via electrical impulses that are converted into chemical signals! It's not a fucking MUSCLE! And if you could somehow stop the brain from working, you would *die* because your brain wouldn't be telling you to *breathe.* You *definitely* wouldn't be able to *talk* or *struggle.*
Good thing the Chinese tuning fork torture completely made up for it.

Also, I know from House that it is completely not necessary for Mohinder to jab the needle in the back of Sylar's neck like that. In fact, jabbing the needle in all extra vicious-like is pretty much guaranteed to fuck it up. Spinal fluid is normally sampled via a lumbar puncture, which takes a sample from between two vertebrae in the lower back, if I'm not mistaken.
Ohhh, Hiro. Big-ass ladder = so not stealth.
