Ago, our long haired Dachshund is now 15 years old. I must say that despite that age, he is still pretty energetic for his age. He can run around in happiness when some of the family members come home (or guests), though he is not very into going out for a long time. His front feet have grown a lot, it might be simply, because he has rheumatics. I am not exactly sure, we have been to the vet yesterday, but it turns out that through his blood, he is all fine. I will be going there again with him tomorrow, getting some biochemistry test, if the grown feet are really cased by rheumatics, if he has diabetes and whatnot. Ago drinks a lot of water, and the vet said that might be a small problem for him. I will see tomorrow, but so far, I think he is doing all fine, and it still looks like he will stay for at least a year with us still.
EDIT: Biochemistry went well it seems! There were some minor larger doses of Glu (which is Glucose it seems) and ALP (not sure what it is). The vet just told me that he is a really heathy dog for being a 15 year old one. His liver is just a little more parameter than he should have, but it's again so minor, we don't have to worry about that. Makes me so very happy he is doing fine! <3
As far as I go, I started going swimming again and after a few days of hard swimming (every day 30 rounds of 50 metres, which is 1500 metres of swimming per day), I actually got rid of 1 kilogram. Swimming makes me VERY happy, because I love sports, I can eat stuff as much as I want, my back is feeling much better (since I have back problems and can't carry heavy stuff) and I simply don't like to sit on my butt and do nothing but studying or sitting at the computer. If I don't get exercise, I just get mad XD
Another wonderful thing is that my mom bought me some new goggles for swimming for MDD (short in slovak for National Children's Day), so finally, I can do some good swimming exercise under water!
As far as university goes, it looks like I am finished with every of the 8 subjects, excapt two (the worst ones). Math is still giving me big problems, and I still did not finish first semester of Math :/
I love Math, but I somply suck at it and don't understand it. When I went to college, Math was TOO easy to be true. I had just full As most of the time, but here, it's simply hard. I just have to work harder and do my best! My cousin, who is a professor in the University of Mathematics and Physics will help me out. Seriously, she is too kind and taking all the extra time for me to learn all this stuff. I would be lost without her. I must buy her some nice present for her wonderful help <3
And thankfully, my math teacher is one of the greatest teachers a person can get. I don't think he has the heart to throw out a student. His tests are just simply hard, but that doesn't mean he is not being fair towards students. So that's another great thing!
Last thing....video games. I love them too much. I am addicted to Fire Emblem again. I finished my favorite one again, which is Sacred Stones, and now I am continuing the one for GBA, which has no subtitle....the one with Eliwood, Hector and Lyndis lol
Otherwise, I played Zelda-Ocarina of Time today, must finish this game already. Shadow Temple really gives me the shivers, Re-deads still scare me as hell (but not the ones from different games), I had to turn off the sound 80% of the time ;___;
Though I admit, when I play the game, I try to play it as long as possible. Which means I try to just get one stage/temple/whatever in one day, and then another one in another day. If I play just all in one, it ruins the story for me, and especially how long a game is. It took me for example 7 days to beat Luigi's Mansion, while you can win it in like....3 hours, but that's because I was being slow on purpose, trying to get as many gems as possible, catch all Boos, everything! I guess I like being a patient player and not do everything at once! It leaves some great experience to me <3333
Otherwise, I like playing tetris. Tetrisfriends.com is the best site to play it imo. There are different challenges and while it's just tetris, it has still different challenges with playing it with some friends or opponents! =D
I could talk about a lot of stuff, but this is mor than enough :P
