the fourth.....
the fourth of July was amazing this year... it was the first real family time that we have had since the move.... all three parents were there and so were all of the kids.... for the first time in months nothing felt forced between the parents.... i was asked the day before what we were planning and then invited to spend the day as an entire family.... I was so excited... thinking of the holidays has not been a happy thing this year... always the thought of whether or not the kids will be together lurks in the back of my mind and the inevitable questions if they are apart.... and now here it was the fourth of july and not only did we get to spend it together we all had a fabulous time.... we went for lunch at casa bonita and then to ani's house for a pool side barbeque at dark we rushed off to see the fireworks and then back to ani's for rootbeer floats and our own personal fireworks in the street.... all the kids had a blast... especially in the kiddy pool that they managed to fit into all at once... yeay!!! for the foruth of July!!!!
