a good week....
Things this week are looking up.... I went to a group counseling session to try and work out some of the issues that have been occurring lately and more importantly we got to spend time with the girls twice this week after having them for the weekend.... on Tuesday they came over so that they could play with the other kids instead of having to wait at a doctor's appointment ... it was really neat... emmi got to go and spend the day with my parents... they took her shoe shopping and she picked out pastel blue and pink shoes with skull and cross bones done in sparkles across the front... aily came for nap time at the house and then got to come out for coffee and both girls were allowed to stay for dinner and games late into the night while the parents played catan with some friends.... then we got them again tonight.... all of the kids had a blast they picked cherries and worked in their art notebooks with their pastels.... this week it almost feels like we could have a family again instead of the torn and broken pieces that we have become lately.... it is amazing watching the children smile again and David relax enough to chase them through the yard, while all are giggling madly.... this week gives me hope that maybe the future might turn out alright.....
