it's been awhile. how is everyone doing?
So we had our very first dragonboat race competition in richmond by river road on Saturday. It was soo hot yesterday! And we managed to get 1st place in the green 'b' division. Overall, we weren't in the last (worst) category!!! Our time was 2:09'14", much better than our first time. Well next year i bet we'll get a higher standing. Anyway, yay for the ribbon! Our coach Danny was on team V02Max and his team placed 3rd in the Blue (best & fastest) division. The CAC Bananaboat is retiring and those who still want to continue until the end of August will probably go with another team. I hope they put us on a good team :)
Went to the richmond night market after the competition (started at 9, finished at 6p) and it was ok. There was supposed to be a dance demo brought by the UBC Dance Club but they never had it. Oh well. I'll just remember to go to Robson Square on friday nights :D
Also, went home and watched the Butterfly Effect (finally!). I think Ashton portrayed his character very well since it was rather difficult to play in the first place.
So many things i wanna do before school begins in the fall (i have only 2 weeks off after summer school ends). So much to do, so little time. Has anyone gone through Storeum? I heard it's good except that it costs $22!! Oh my. Also, birthday's coming up. YEAH!
