Yep - and I'm very glad for it... I've been struggling to write for months now (before this I'd only managed 2 short fics in the last 2 years), so I'm very happy to be finding inspiration for it again now. I've just finished a story for this year's Summergen, plus this one yesterday, and I've started working on another as well :).

That was good. I like the Bad in Dean and to see where and what he will do. I'm so looking forward to season 10 starting but this was a good tease at the possibilities to come. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks :). Glad you liked it - I was a little wary of posting it as I haven't really written anything this dark in quite a while :).

I'm really hoping Demon!Dean will be badass next season (the 10x03 teaser is looking promising and Jensen is looking amazing right now - I think Demon!Dean agrees with him, lol)... after SDCC I'm excited for it, I just hope the writers don't mess it up :S.

Holy hell, this was awesome! Your demon!Dean is scarily chilling and I can just imagine him being like this. I love this line...

'And he’s glad for it; this is the best thing that’s ever happened to him. Just a shame it’s taken so fuckin’ long.'

Dean's life has been one long round of sorrow and pain with the odd glimmer of happy, so in some ways it's no surprise he would want to let go of all that and just have 'fucking time of his life'!!

His disdain for humans is really chilling, but almost worse is his lack of care of his Baby, that just shows how un-Dean like he is!

Loved this so much.

The fic was mainly inspired by what Jensen said in the SDCC panel about how he'd been beating people up and killing them every day last week and using it to vent his frustrations :P, but also by all the other comments he's made in the short interview clips recently (and by the 10x03 clip).

I agree - I think Dean will just let go and embrace his new-found freedom as a demon. He can just forget all the burdens and pain from his human life and have some fun... without having to feel any remorse or guilt over it (yet!).

Yes, I was very inspired by what Jensen said and also the clip from S10 where he says 'do it' - in fact I wrote a fic based on that! Demon!Dean is going to be a fantastic muse I think, I'm looking forward to all the art & fic he generates!

Yeah, I think he will be a great muse - I haven't felt this inspired or excited about the show in years.

I saw on the demon Dean community that you had written a fic based on the 'Do It' line. I went to read it, but then saw that it was Sam/Dean and unfortunately I don't read wincest :(.

Thanks :). This is kind of how I'm hoping he will be as well :P. We need some badass Dean to shake things up a bit and make the show exciting again.

I have to say that I haven't been this excited about SPN since Season 5. There's so much great potential with Demon!Dean, so I just really hope that the writers don't ruin it with a load of silly standalones or too much boring angel stuff and Dean being 'cured' too quickly.

I agree, I always skip the angel bits anyway, I think we can totally do without them, it seems that they're put in there to give Castiel a storyline. I don't want Dean cured too quickly either, can't wait for October.

When do you go to Dallas?

Yeah, totally agree on all of that. I heard that Castiel will be on his own for a bit at the beginning of S10 - I just hope his storyline doesn't take too much screen time away from Sam and Dean, because they are what the show is about, not Cas or the other angels.

I fly to the US 6 weeks on Saturday, and then to Dallas the week after that (the con is 7 weeks tomorrow) :).
