Holy hell, this was awesome! Your demon!Dean is scarily chilling and I can just imagine him being like this. I love this line...

'And he’s glad for it; this is the best thing that’s ever happened to him. Just a shame it’s taken so fuckin’ long.'

Dean's life has been one long round of sorrow and pain with the odd glimmer of happy, so in some ways it's no surprise he would want to let go of all that and just have 'fucking time of his life'!!

His disdain for humans is really chilling, but almost worse is his lack of care of his Baby, that just shows how un-Dean like he is!

The fic was mainly inspired by what Jensen said in the SDCC panel about how he'd been beating people up and killing them every day last week and using it to vent his frustrations :P, but also by all the other comments he's made in the short interview clips recently (and by the 10x03 clip).

I agree - I think Dean will just let go and embrace his new-found freedom as a demon. He can just forget all the burdens and pain from his human life and have some fun... without having to feel any remorse or guilt over it (yet!).

Yes, I was very inspired by what Jensen said and also the clip from S10 where he says 'do it' - in fact I wrote a fic based on that! Demon!Dean is going to be a fantastic muse I think, I'm looking forward to all the art & fic he generates!

Yeah, I think he will be a great muse - I haven't felt this inspired or excited about the show in years.

I saw on the demon Dean community that you had written a fic based on the 'Do It' line. I went to read it, but then saw that it was Sam/Dean and unfortunately I don't read wincest :(.

Same here, I was really upset (as were we all) when Dean died and became a demon but now I think it's just what the show needs. Jensen sounds so excited when he talks about playing demon!Dean too, I'm so looking forward to seeing his performance.

Yeah, I actually quite liked that he was a demon right from when it happened - I figured he would die anyway, but then I guessed Sam would find a way to bring him back... so the black eyes were a surprise, but in a good way because it's added this whole new dimension to the show now. And there's been so much focus on angel wars and Crowley/Abaddon lately that I think the show needs to get back to being about Sam and Dean, and have the main plot be about them and their destinies (whether good or bad).

Don't apologise for the wincest - you're entitled write whatever you want to write :)... I just feel a bit bad about not reading it. I just can't see the brothers as anything more than just brothers, so reading wincest stories is weird for me.
