And what's that exactly? o_O; Sorry, I'm a bit irritated with the manga recently and at the moment I'm irritated with BOTH brothers =_= The world is about to end.

That there is a reason behind what appears to be evil, which means don't judge a person until you know why he does something. As a corollary, enemies may not stay enemies forever. I thought in Naruto it's usually the opposite: former friends can turn into enemies (Orochimaru). Er, am I making sense?

Quite a lot of sense. But isn't it true in a real life as well? The both situations I mean. Your friend can easily turn into an enemy due to some reason known only to the person and someone who you considered to be your enemy not necessary might your enemy in fact. If Kishi decided to keep it in blacks and whites only, I don't think it would really improve the story. There always are the reasons, which might seem to be selfish for one and noble for the other. hehehe... my biased point of view ^^;

Not only Sasuke... Half of the fandom as well. Even if half of the things that Madara said about Itachi is true, then it's rather hard to say he was selfish ^^;
