wierd and quirky
today was an unusual day. kathryn hartgrove called me and i knew it was her when my phone rang, and i am very excited to have heard from her. she always makes me want to practice my shit and she gave me the motivation of fear by telling me that we are doing a run through on the first sunday that i am in italy, so way to go kathryn with the motivation. also she is trying to play little ms. matchmaker with me, and of course as usual i am not going to put up a fight. she had me call this guy niel who has never been out of the country and is very confused about what to do once he gets there (he will be there a few days before the program) so i had to fill him in on how to get a room at a youth hostel, which p.s. is not as cheap as i thought it would be, and how to get into rome from the airport and so on and so forth. he seems sweet and i am looking forward to meeting him. kathryn says he is tall.
i had to book the hostel for me and a couple of friends which took enormous amounts of phone calling and praying that they would take my debit/credit card. i also did get a little bit memorized which is good because i was beginning to think my brain was coated in tephlon and that nothing was going to stick. i am now really tired and it is only 8:30. i think i'm going to watch a movie and go to bed. tomorrow i plan on waking up early to work out and practice and hopefully the sun will grace us with it's presence so that i can sit outside and memorize instead of inside my apartment, which while cute, is giving me cabin fever!
