(no subject)
Last night was really fun. I met Adam at St. Andrews for a drink, and then we went to Toys R Us and clowned around for hours, building Lego towers and playing catch. I went home with a beer buzz and a smile on my face. We're gonna do something next week. Tonight I have a fitting for the runway show on the eighth. I always feel bizarre when I do runway. I feel like people are looking at me thinking "Who's cousin is she?" or "Did someone owe that girl a favor?". I don't think I'll never see myself as a model.
I've been reading a lot more lately. I really missed it. I had been on a real TV jag, and then I borrowed some great books from a friend. When my schedule was more stable, I used to go to the library twice a week. I'd love to get another job in Midtown so I could do that again. My landlord called and told me that a lawyer friend of his needs a secretary. It would be so great to get real income flowing, but I really can't commit to full time this close to the holidays. Darn. Poor timing again. A friend of mine tipped me off to this great catering company. I guess I'll check that out.
