"the office of misinformation has been working around the clock"
- Carolyn and Joe's wedding on Saturday was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen, plus the first one I've seen at UVa. I've always thought the Chapel was too dark and gothic for a wedding ceremony, but it didn't seem that way with the wedding going on! Joe's dad played guitar and sang "I Cross My Heart" and they took communion, which I have never seen. The wedding was very Carolyn-- she has a Kate Spade / J. Crew style with lots of bright colors and clean lines and everything reflected that. The flowers were orange dahlias and yellow roses and the reception had kind of a fruit theme with peaches and berries in the centerpieces and food.

Weddings are also good places to make new friends because everyone is in a nice mood with good food and dancing. And my friends who were groomsmen were so handsome, I was proud of them for being all elbows out and "can I escort you?" when Debs and I arrived. Carolyn and Joe were so beautiful together and Joe had the biggest smile on his face all day.
- On Monday I got to go to the spa! I used the gift certif JQ got me for Christmas. I got a massage and facial and it was really nice, I wish I had the money to buy the products they sell there because my face really did look nicer afterward!
- I ♥ velvet_gl0ve. Blades of Glory, Drowsy Poet, and Mac's tonight was fun, but the most fun was planning a scavenger hunt for Susan. Camp is going to be great!!!
