Tough luck

   For once, I'm able to log on, so I have to tell you that I seem to be out of luck a bit these days. Everything else is fine, but I'm upsetting things, dropping things, losing and then finding them again, and getting out of sorts because of these constant mishaps. I also managed to twist my ankle rather badly last week (badly as in I almost broke it), and it's been hurting more or less ever since. I've even had to walk around with a stick, and today I finally ventured out without it. It's really annoying to have something like that going on all the time... Since I got rid of my flu, and got all my stuff moved into storage, I thought I could finally take it easy. Well, I've been taking it easy, all right, hardly getting out of the house for a week... I'm very lucky to have so many movies to watch, and good books to read, not to mention having found oodles of new stuff on Pinterest again. Something's happening on YouTube: they've gotten rid of page numbers for some reason, so if you want to see a particular clip, you have to scroll through every single clip before it. I don't see this as an improvement, but I won't complain until the clips stop working altogether.
   And so the United States election is finally over. I'm relieved that Obama won, since I think he's been doing something right during his presidency so far, and as far as I can tell, he seems to be closer to the majority of Americans than Mitt Romney with his racing horses and car elevators... It was fun to watch the victory speech and the party on TV, since our political rallies are a bit more sedate, We only go crazy for ice hockey in this country, and of course many concerts are rowdy...
