Would you break the law to save a loved one?

There are things to celebrate today. It's the end of Purim, so happy end of Purim to all who find it relevant! I may write about the Jewish festivals at some point, because religions and festivals are interesting, but I'm a bit tired today, so I'll let it go for now. It's also Womens' day here in Finland, and Mother's day in many other countries, so happy Womens' day to all of my readers, as far as I can tell:). It's a very feminine sort of blog, this, I think, although I don't write about anything very specifically feminine. Knitting might perhaps be thought of as something fairly feminine, but I have read about many male knitters too.
What a question for today! I have a great respect for the law, but of course I would break the law for a loved one. It's just that I can't envisage a situation, where breaking the law would actually help anyone. But since it's clearly a point of principles and priorities, sure...
Piano practice went exceptionally well today, and so did the proofreading. I don't have any explanation for the latter, except for being good at what I do for a living, but the former may be explained by my running a slight fever. My throat feels like I swallowed a cactus, and my nose is running. I believe I may be getting a cold;). I got the flu vaccine some time before Christmas, so I don't think I can get the flu, but I'm getting something. It's lucky I went to buy groceries today, and can stay at home tomorrow. I also did the whole proofreading thing today, and that means I'm free to have a cold tomorrow...
I haven't given any updates on David Copperfield lately, but I'm still reading pretty steadily. David has reconnected with his old friend, Steerforth, and has just introduced him to the Peggotys, the family who live in the boat turned upside down. There is a feeling of foreboding, and I don't expect to enjoy the next chapters. But it's still such a great book, and I'm happy to have the patience to read it. I'm also reading the next book for the 100 books meme, and I hope to have it finished in time for Monday.
This week is simply flying by, I can't believe it's Thursday. Nothing exciting in store for the weekend, I'm sorry to say. I need to get well first, anyway. You know, I can't remember a year, when I wasn't ill on my birthday or within two weeks of it. Nothing very serious, but always something to annoy me. That's life... See you tomorrow!
