How ridiculously cute is this kid?
Necessary background for the following story: One of Mia's favorite episodes of Go, Diego, Go! is Chinta the Baby Chinchilla.
Story:
We're driving to my mother-in-law's house this morning, and in my cd player is Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, specifically the final movement. We're listening to it and I'm trying to point out to her all the different instruments. "Hear the violins, Mia?" "Hear the timpani, Mia?" We get to the main theme of the movement (you all know what it is, even if you don't know that you know) being played by the double basses and cellos. (Can you see where I'm going?)
I say, "Mia, do you hear the string basses and cellos?"
And Mia replies, "Yeah, I like the baby chin-cellos."
From the mouths of babes. I don't think I'll ever be able to look at a cello again without giggling.
