The Heroes finale did feel a little rushed - and a little full. But in the end I liked how they pulled it together and am very curious for next year. And yeah - the one BIG bad that can see Molly!
OH MY - LOST. LOST LOST LOST LOST. I cannot wait for more flash forwards. And poor Jack. He's completely broken. He's not one that you'd ever think that would happen too and...it's like poetry really. Poor dear.
I loved how he told Kate he loved her and it was a sweet and honest moment. And she wasn't sure what to say - and in truth nothing needed to be said. It was about Jack loving someone without expectation. So different than the obsession he had with his ex. Growth on his part. And it was beautiful - I loved it too.
I honestly thought Juliet was kissing Jack goodbye - because SHE kissed him. I just don't think that either she or Sawyer thought they would get back from where they were going.
It was so good to finally give Charlie purpose and meaning and to let it happen. Relieves Desmond's burden as well. Nicely done and in the end I did cry for a character that had kind of just bugged me from the time they crashed! Mostly.
I know that would be an interesting turn to have it be Ben in the coffin. But I just keep thinking of all of the evil that is in that man and how easily he has always MURDERED people and I just. . . can't quite go there yet. He says it's for the island but really he's a selfish small man that is holding Jacob hostage and on a huge power trip [I think]. He's terrified of Locke - who the island HAS chosen - and well I'm not sure that he's that worthy of Jack's heartbreak.
But then we have some time to figure that out!
Oh the date of the obituary was April 2007 - not that it tells us how long it had been since Jack and Kate had left the island, but we know that they crashed September 2004...so...
I'm still very excited for Heroes next year. I think they just built it up too much and they were their own worst enemies by making it so good year this whole year.
