their love is so 90's! -->

I spaz out about 90210 and Buffy's anniversary and I disappear again. Totally not my intention and I've decided I don't like being a grown up because that means I have to work and to work here means to work, on average, 10-15 hours of OT a week. It's CRAP. On the plus side, I get comp time and that's never a bad thing. I have yet take a vacation day because of all the comp time. YAY!

I want to go on vacation. We can't really afford to go anywhere swanky (hopefully, next year) but I'm making a case that we should stay in the States and go someplace. I want to go to Chicago. I sort of convince him and we sort of decide on Chicago and then he starts kayaking stuff for L.A. and I'm like dude, you totally just hijackd my Chicago idea. Not cool! So I think we're going back to Chicago. I have no idea what's there, what to do, where to stay or anything but I've heard it is a great city and I feel like I'm 30 and I've been practically nowhere in the US. I live in Boston and I've never been to NYC. It's sad, really.

What else? I got my Jeep! Yay! I can't drive my Jeep! Boo! The title was in 2 names and only one signed it so...that had to go back up country to get fixed. I'm lucky that when I drove it illegally for 200 miles that I didn't get pulled over. So it's sitting in my grandparent's driveway and I'm driving my grandfather's truck because, of course, I left my car at my mom's.

I'm still waiting to watch Friday Night Lights until the summer. I know it's great. I watched some of the marathon on Bravo but I'm still waiting. My brain is going to explode from all the TV. And Drive starts soon and it could be the shittiest show in the world but 2 words: NATHAN FILLION. If there was a show where he just sat in a chair and did nothing but watched the floor do nothing, I would watch it.

Is anyone watching Brothers & Sisters? I adore it. And, yeah, Dave Annable doesn't hurt the old eyes, if you know what I mean. I've never been a big fan of Rachel Griffiths but she kicks so much ass. It's a little difficult to get past Ron Rifkin's Arvin Sloan-ness but he tries real hard. I'm glad to see Balty Getty still working, even if I think his acting is eh at best. And Knoll's wife from Felicity and Sally Field and Calista Flockheart and dude, Rob Lowe is sort of, kind of great. Oh and Emily VanCamp and I can't wait to see what they do with that.

I think I was MIA when the Family Channel showed Everwood and I watched it and completely loved it and tortured D. every night at 6. But they never showed it again once they ran through the series and I find that very disappointing because they've been showing GG over and over again.

Oh, Gilmore Girls...sigh. I think I feel for GG what everyone else seems to be feeling for VM. (Not that I don't feel sad for VM or whatever but I gave up quite a long time ago and have just been watching because I can't NOT watch, you know) I really wish it would just be put down already. It's the humane thing to do. Not only to the viewing audience that once loved this show to bits and pieces but to the actors who seem to be struggling just to get the words out. I don't even know what to say anymore.

I think Lost has been fairly kick-ass since it came back. It's a show that I will always bitch about no matter how happy it makes me but I won't be negative just to be negative. I think it's pretty good right now. I hope they keep up the momentum. And it definitely helps to have them all back to back. I'd prefer not to have 6 and none and then the rest but whatever.

So I watched a lot of Buffy when the anniversary came up and I've been working on stuff since...

And I'm too lazy to link them all, so if you are interested in seeing them in all their glory, go here.

And you had to know that if I got 90210 dvds that I would have to make 90210 icons.
