Hi! I said that if The Office didn't win, I would never watch the Emmy's ever again (and, really, I should have stopped watching when Buffy lost for "Hush" but whatev) but they did so, phew, because as much as I hate it, I have to watch. Just for the dresses alone. Hel-lo, Katherine Heigl (here)! My goodness. D. said, "Can you rewind that?" and I just laughed and said, "I'm sure you'll want to watch Grey's Anatomy now, huh?" It's the bum.
Quickly on the dresses:
- Heidi Klum amazes me. here and here (Hi, Seal! Why are you so much more attractive now than you were pre-Heidi? Does Heidi just make everything look better?)
- Evangeline Lilly looked stunning. The dress, the hair, I think she butched-down a bit so that's good. Her guns were getting out of control last year. here and here
- Sandra Oh...okay, I think the jewelry was a little hideous but I liked the dress. She works every dress she wears. here
- Julia Louis Dreyfuss was very simple and elegant. here
- Kyra Sedgwick's rose on the hip scared me to death but the rest of it was pretty and flowy. here
- I think I had Sarah Chaulke's dress in high school. here
- Jenna Fischer looked beautiful. Her face and hair were lovely. Her dress? Not so much. The color washed her out, the bow was just weird, the straight cut wasn't the most flattering. here. But she's Pam so I love her. (And the pics over at theoffice_us of her and John are FANTASTIC!!! *dies*) And she's already updated her blog! She's so good. here
- Ellen Pompeo scared me. The hair, the dress, the face. It is one big hot mess. But she either a) put on some weight(which if that's the case, YAY!), b) squished her boobs to the point where they were dead by 10 p.m. or c) bought a pair because girl was busting out all over. Blech. here and here And I know she knows how to dress properly because I still covet the dress she wore last year that actually got me to watch Grey's Anatomy because I thought "Wow, they look pretty together!". See?
- I didn't even recognize Kate Walsh. here and here
- I thought Calista Flockhart looked lovely. It was one of the few black dresses and it added to her instead of making her look like a walking skeleton like she did way back when. here
I liked all the purple. I would also recognize Leah Remini but she makes me want to huddle in a corner and beg for her not to take me to her leader.
I'm disappointed that Chandra Wilson, Steve Carell, Project Runway and even Jaime Pressly didn't win. But I am happy that MNiE got a few, although I don't know if it was better than "The Christmas Party" but hey, I'm glad they both got Emmys.
Guys are pretty, too (although finding decent pictures was not easy!)

- Isaiah Washington told E! that his porn name would be Ringo Main. Mmm...Burke and porn. Not bad. Not bad at all, my friend. here
- I don't watch Entourage (yet) and Jeremy Piven has been bothering me since he became Ari but I found myself extremely happy that he won because I did really, really like him for so many years ("Give me my firebird keys!" and his bit in "Singles" is priceless). I'll even forgive the ascott 'cause I'm that kind of gal. here
- I think Patrick Dempsey's playing a total prick is making him way less attractive because, normally, him in a tux = lickable but now... eh. here
- I do find Steve Carell attractive. And he looks very nice in a suit (and his wife looked beautiful!) here
- I don't find Rainn Wilson all that attractive but he looks very nice in his suit. And let me just say the opening bit with The Office? I had a fit! It was sooooooooo great. "Damn it, Jim!" "...No, I did not have Conan O'Brien fall out of the ceiling." OMG. Priceless. I can't wait until the 21st!!! here
