Holy crud! I love your stream of consciousness writing here. It made me relive the episode all over again. I really liked the ep overall. I think this is the first one I've watched while it's airing in a long time.
I'm going to say that it was a good ending to the show.
Honestly, regardless of anything Katee might have said or done, things like that are always going to be RDM's call. Actors can offer input, as Mary McDonnell and Dean Stockwell apparently did in the finale, but decisions are ultimately going to be up to him. Katee's opinions aren't going to be the primary factor.
I can definitely see how Anders fate was affected. I wouldn't be surprised if he would have survived after all if Trucco hadn't been hurt. *pets tlace*
Those Kara/Zak/Lee flashbacks made me sooooo mad. There's nothing in the mini or series itself that indicates that either of them would have done that in a million years. It was obvious that Kara was very much in love with Zak. Lee is Lee but there's no way she's trying to pull that with him the first time they meet with Zak a few feet away and no way would Lee go for it.
What a wonderfully fun post :) Not surprisingly there is a lot of it that you and I were on the same wavelength. I was already balling with Cottle too ;) Forgot to mention that in my post *sigh* too much to try and remember I guess?
I really hated all of the Lee/Kara stuff. Really. Never liked them together anyway so....yeah. But he was finally free of her in the end and THAT I liked.
Helo is pretty, no? Aw, even when he cries. LOVE Helo. I loved reading through the whole post about Helo being dead and then him not, because I kept thinking the same thing about every commercial. Also, how good did he look in the black fight gear while he was carrying Hera?!
