The Vag Fest is back! Girl-centric, het and femslash only, any fandom. I haven't had time to read, write, or even leave prompts for it yet, but I'll get to it. :P

blackmamba_esq made an Angel Coulby comm!
angel_coulby. I hadn't realised until now how sad I was that everyone in the cast had one but her. ♥

Ahaha, I heart you.
But no, so much stupid in this ep - which doesn't stop it from being probably the best ep of the season so far, but still. The idea that Morgana can't handle knowing everything Merlin knows, that she can't manage to hide Merlin's secret from Uther especially now that she's hiding her OWN as well - is baseless, except for the fact that they are clearly starting to paint her as someone who can't be trusted, and not a little narcissistic (Really, you don't care that Uther's going to kill a bunch of people because you're lonely?). There's a thing the writers like to do in which every time Merlin sets out to help magic users who aren't him (since they are clearly the oppressed group in the story) it turns out he needn't have bothered because they always turn out to be shady. I hate that they're doing it to Morgana as well.
With the exception of the Druids, but little about the Druids makes sense when you think about it, because why on earth could they not stand down Arthur and his knights, why did they run, they're freaking sorcerors. I guess you can't be good AND fight against the system. You can only be good by waiting around for a better king to reform things from the top-down. I am hoping for an outwardly-rebellious Morgana who tries to use her powers to change things (even if she ends up going wrong for the right reason), but no one gets to do that. Even Merlin uses his powers ... to enable Arthur to change things at some undetermined point in the future. And basically the messages that the show unintentionally sends burn sometimes, especially because I don't sense a lick of self-awareness on the writers' part.
And OMG I should not think about this show so much.
LOL, Dollhouse. Yeah, I'm kind of in both camps; I'm glad this season seems to be taking some steps toward where we know it's all heading, and is actually touching on the ethics fail, but it was hard to watch and creepy and part of it is that I'm a little tired of sci-fi sending its messages in the form of skeevy pregnancy plots.
AND YES OMG THEY MADE HER PRODUCE MILK AND NURSE A BABY THAT WASN'T HERS OH GOD. ;___;
