I know there was some Jacqueline Carey fic posted at yuletide previously. I can't remember anything regarding quality....but it was there :) I plan to actually make suggestions for yuletide fandoms this year since there are so many rare ones I'd like to see.
Yes, I'm home and bored. I'm commenting on every post, personal or comm, you make today apparently *eye roll*
Super speedy response of patheticness! (word? not word? ah well, you'll understand it)
Let me know if the book is any good! I'll be honest, I prejudged it and didn't read, so I may change my mind if I hear differing opinions otherwise :)
Also, I suppose I should chime in with a simple confirmation that Martha is awesome. Or rather, can be awesome - when the writers aren't doing a severe injustice to how great she can be *nods*
Why can't we make up words? We've got time on our hands, apparently. *g*
I will let you know how it is! I like it so far, it's entirely different in style and substance from her other books, and it kind of works. Actually, since I heard that the other non-Kushiel books that Carey has written before this were crap, I wasn't seeking this one out to read, either. But on the strength of a pretty good review from a book blogger I trust I decided to check it out. Anyway, it should be a quicker read than the others.

I am currently reading as of this minute Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. So far...it's not what I expected - but well, why not? I was curious.

*puts it on my iphone for later*
It's kind of sad that half the books I read anymore are in digital form. :/
