Start spreading the news...
..I'm headed to NYC in the morning. (I hate it when people use cliches like that, especially when they think they are being clever, but I did it anyway.) As mentioned before, some friends and I are going to protest at the Republican National Convention and generally enjoy the Big Apple (ugh! there's another one!). I will be traveling with aaroncgarrett (check his journal for our itinerary) and his friend from CA. My old friend Bryan will be joining us on Monday evening. He is stationed in Conneticut and driving over. I also hope to meet up for dinner and drinks with a friend who lives in Brooklyn. It will be a packed trip. Not really a relaxing vacation but an exciting one for sure! I'm taking a digital camera so will post some pics next week.
