Made mayonnaise by hand to go in my egg salad. I think that renews it by about a year in this day and age.

By the way, it took all of a minute and a half (and two egg yolks, 1.5 tablespoons of white wine vinegar, sea salt, freshly ground pepper, walnut oil and some random curry blend I've got in the house - plus a bowl and whisk).

Is good.

I has a banana, pecan, and dried cherry bread. Two loaves. I'm following a different recipe than I've used before and it calls for buttermilk. What with the tang of the buttermilk, it really, really wants a cream cheese frosting on, it does, it does, but I don't have enough cream cheese to make any up, much less enough white sugar to even grind up ( Read more... )
