(no subject)
I get my brain project back tomorrow in psych. The grade I get on this project will essentially determine if and how much I have to study this week for finals. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for no studying, although my professor doesn't usually give out more than one or two A+ per project, and he said he's never given out a 100% so here's hoping I can set a precedent!
Oh, and Kalen and I conducted a *cough* experiment last night at Portland City Grill involving our theory that tequila is more potent than vodka. We proved our theory to be true because after one marganini (like a martini but with tequila instead of vodka) I was more than a little tipsy.
Weird! "Clementine" by The Decemberists was just followed by "Clementine" by Elliott Smith! What are the chances?
That's right, I (and by "I" I naturally mean my older brother) finally got itunes on my computer and began downloading music today. Unfortunately, most of my music is burned onto CDs since all my originals were stolen when my car got broken into, so I had to spend a great deal of time manually entering the artists and titles for each song :/ But at least I finally have music on my iPod!
Now I need some advice. Kalen (my roommate) dated this guy for two years in high school named Benji. They've been broken up for almost two years now and have since dated other people. Anyway, the three of us are friends and today Benji told me he's falling for me, blah blah blah. I told him no way, forget about it, not going to happen, but he's very persistent. So basically, I want to know if I should tell Kalen about it. I'm not going to go for it or anything with him, no way in hell am I that stupid, but after the whole Alex thing that happened in the fall, I don't want to be guilty of keeping things like this from her. But at the same time, she's just now finally getting over him and I don't want to hurt her by telling her. Conundrum.
Anyway, I'm going to go finish my final deviancy paper...I have to analyze personal ads, and since I'm dumb and forgot to pick up the Mercury this week, it looks like it's going to be and my old friend Craigslist tonight ;)
P.S. I'm retarded. I just somehow my music got sorted by title instead of shuffle...yeah, I'm smart.
