I'm sure I've asked this before but do any of you guys play the Nancy Drew computer games? They're REALLY cool, if you don't. Basically it's educational mystery games (some of the old ones based on Nancy Drew books) and they've been making them for a while now. I started playing them when I was about 13 and ASDLfkasj;ldfsdkj they're still epic! Obviously they get cooler as technology advances.
Anyhow, for my birthday I bought myself the newest game, The Deadly Device, with birthday money and HOLY CHEESE IT WAS GOOD!
Okay so I generally tend to love them no matter what because I love learning things and I love mystery, but this one was about a scientist who was murdered in the lab where they were doing experiments in Colorado Springs, CO with Tesla's old inventions. The dude was killed when somebody tampered with the Tesla Coil and it electrocuted him. So automatically you have Nicola Tesla facts and knowledge and that makes it epic because who doesn't like a real life mad scientist?! But NO! What made this one SUPER EPIC has got to be the fact that I thought I'd reached the climax LITERALLY FOUR TIMES before I actually reached the end!
AND the person I thought did it the ENTIRE TIME didn't end up being the killer so I was fooled again!
Seriously guys, there are 27 games and I've owned all but two of them, and this one is DEFINITELY top 3. Not just top 5, but top 3!!! I can't pick an actual favorite but my top three are definitely:
-#27 The Deadly Device
-#23 Shadow At The Water's Edge
-#10 The Secret of Shadow Ranch
I LOVE THESE GAMES AND THE NEWEST ONE IS POSSIBLY MY FAVORITE OF ALL TIMES!
Note: the older games? Totally cheap if you download them from Amazon! I got the Remastered edition of Secrets Can Kill (the first one ever) for $1.99 the other day. It's short, it's just a remastered version of a VERY OLD GAME but it's totally worth the $1.99!
epic,
