First, I definitely did not waste my time reading this! This was brilliant, and I'm so happy we got to see more from the Straight Boys verse! Cheeks' family is hilarious, and I loved how well Neil coped with them. I loved Adam and Tommy making fun of Neil. And the ending was just perfect, so sweet!

Haha, thanks! Idk, I just had a mental image of NEIL in all his loud, opinionated, trash-mouthed, non-christian glory around Brad's family, who probably AREN'T total rednecks, but are still conservative christians from TEXAS, lol.

I know ALL about the south (sure, Georgia is far from texas, but it's close enough) and I could only IMAGINE Neil stuck with a (stereo)typical redneck family for a week and it was too good to pass up!

I just noticed a plot hole in the hunting scene (I mentioned all the boys picking on him then sort of left all of that out) but I didn't fix it when I decided to leave out the ACTUAL hunting scene because most of my readers would've been offended by a graphic depiction of hunting pheasants. I really hate I didn't catch that before and write something else in so there wasn't a hole there. Grr.

OMG, I absolutely love all of the teasing of Neil. For some reason, it doesn't feel as mean to be picking on him lol And Adam and Tommy giggling over his outfit and Neil getting approved by Brad's dad...adorable!

I think I'm in love with these two !! So funny. Died when Adam and Tommy were laughing their butts off at Neils outfit, specially when Adam went around the corner to laugh. Can just see Neil in the south. Brads family is too funny.
