“Absolutely not!” Bill said, glaring at Tom. “I refuse.”
Andrej crossed his arms, giving Tom a sad look. “He’s mean to me, Tom, I don’t want to be alone with him,” he said, and Bill shot him a dark look. “See!? He’ll leave me alone and make me walk home!”
“Oh I will not, you-“
“LADIES!” Tom cried, earning burning glares from both men. “Stop cat fighting,” he said and Andrej whined.
“But Tom, think of my stress!” he said, and Tom sighed wearily.
“Do you two see this?!” he demanded as he tugged up his shirt. He gestured to his middle. “Does anybody else see?”
Andrej tilted his head. “That you’re tan?” he asked and Bill scoffed.
“That you’re fatter than me-“
Tom growled. “This-“ he poked his middle. “Used to be solid. There were abs here,” he said, motioning to the general area of his middle. “Now look! It’s flat! There’s fat between the muscle and the skin-“
“Well, yeah, that happens,” Andrej said in amusement. “I normally have a twenty-five inch waist and there’s still some fat there,” he pointed out.
Tom scoffed. “I have muscles!” he stressed. “Please, Bill, take him shopping. Andrej, please let him take you out so I can go to the gym,” he begged, and Andrej sighed.
“Fine, but only because, eventually, I’ll be able to look at you naked and I do like a nice set of abs-“
“EW!” Bill cried and Tom pointed at him with a dark look. “Tom, he’s talking about nudity of the brother kind, I cannot go out in public with someone who wants to see you naked!”
Tom snickered. “Just let him see you naked and he’ll never want to see what I might possibly look like under my clothes,” he suggested playfully, and Andrej and Bill gave each other disgusted looks.
“No thanks, I like my eyeballs to work,” Andrej said and Bill sniffled, turning his head away in a prissy manner that made Tom chuckle. “Fine, but if he’s mean to me, you have to listen to me bitch,” Andrej demanded with such a firm look on his face that Tom couldn’t help the soft smile he gave him. Andrej blushed and Tom stepped forward, kissing him sweetly.
“You’re the cutest thing,” Tom announced, unable to help himself. He hugged Andrej, who just smiled sweetly. “Please? Let Bill take you shopping so I work out and I promise, I’ll make it up to you later.”
Andrej smirked. “You could come to my place tonight and clean my house in your boxers and a little maids cap,” he suggested and Tom rolled his eyes.
“You’re still ill, so you better go to bed early tonight,” he said and Bill stepped back.
“You didn’t tell me I’m taking an ill person around!” he said, and Andrej sniffled pointed, making Bill cringe.
“It’s just a cold,” Andrej said, sighing. “Tom, please, if he’s going to take me, promise you’ll keep your phone? I’m buying baby things and I want your opinions,” he said, and Tom smiled.
“Of course. Call me if you need me,” he said, kissing his cheek. “Bill, look out for him. Get along with him and I won’t have to kill you later,” he threatened and Bill gave him an innocent look.
“Fine, fine, we’ll have great fun!” Bill said in false enthusiasm, linking arms with Andrej.
Andrej just rolled his eyes. “I’ll be fine, Tom,” he said, then shot Bill a look. “I’m pregnant so I’m automatically prettier, therefore I can gloat about it if he starts getting bitchy and, for the same reason, he can’t hit me,” he said, smirking.
Tom chuckled. “Be good, both of you,” he said, turning to walk away.

“Slow down, I’m wearing heels,” Bill said, snagging Andrej’s elbow as they walked through the mall.
Andrej sighed. “Why did you wear heels? You’re being outrun by a pregnant person, keep up!”
Bill shot him a look. “I’m out in public next to a fucking supermodel, pregnant or not, I’m not going to be the uglier one here,” he said, and Andrej smirked.
“Aww, don’t feel bad! I was just born more beautiful than you,” he said with a little giggle.
Bill glowered. “You are just like my brother, I swear, no wonder he likes you so much,” he said, shaking his head. “You’re as big of an ass as he is.”
Andrej chuckled. “Tom isn’t an ass, Tom’s a sweetheart, he just loves his sarcasm. I find it charming,” he said, and Bill snorted. “He is!” Andrej said, smiling. “He’s one of the sweetest boys I’ve ever known.”
Bill rolled his eyes. “Well he wasn’t,” he pointed out. He shook his head and smiled. “To be honest, I’d be lying if I said Tom isn’t a better person since all this happened.”
Andrej smiled fondly. “Yeah?” he asked, and Bill nodded begrudgingly. “He’s a lot different from that creepy guy I woke up next to,” he agreed and Bill laughed.
“I don’t know if it’s the fact he’s always been sort of the more responsible twin and you brought that out, or if he just genuinely has paternal instincts, but he really has gone from being a whore to taking care of you as his friend, to whatever you guys are up to now,” he said. “And he seriously loves that baby,” he added, and Andrej smiled bashfully.
“I know.” He rubbed his belly. “She’s our baby, Bill,” he said in a fond tone. He looked up and shared a smile with the singer. “I’m happy she has her dad as well as her mum- ACHOO!”
Bill laughed as Andrej was cut off by a giant sneeze. “I swear, you better not give me your cold.”
Andrej groaned. “Thank God I didn’t have to pee now,” he said, and Bill gave him a curious look and Andrej laughed. “Pregnancy makes you have to pee a lot. Sneezing while you have to pee isn’t only bad for a girl, I’ve discovered,” he said, and Bill made a face.
“Ew, that sucks. God I can’t believe it’s worth all the trouble for a baby,” he said, and Andrej shook his head.
“Nothing is too bad for my little one,” Andrej said, then nudged Bill. “Look,” he said, gesturing to a store window. Bill looked and smiled as they saw a display full of baby clothes. Little frilly purple and pink and yellow dresses.
Bill nodded. “Let’s go in,” he said, then glanced at his bodyguard with a chuckle. “Sorry,” he said, and the man grunted unhappily but followed, ignoring how much he stuck out in the baby store.
Andrej giggled. “Tom’s bodyguard is sweet to me. Hans. I think he likes my smile,” he said, and Bill chuckled.
“Hans likes pretty faces, so I wouldn’t be surprised,” he said, walking to a rack full of little dresses. “Aww, I change my mind, I’ll love you too if it means you’ll let me dress your baby,” Bill pleaded, holding up a little pink dress to Andrej.
Andrej smiled. “Aww, that’s adorable,” he said, cringing suddenly, hand going to his middle. “God, I’m sick of those,” he grumbled, going to the next article of clothing.
Bill frowned. “Tired of what? You alright?”
Andrej nodded, still biting his lip. “Yeah, I have these false contractions and the doctor warned me the bigger I got, the more it would be ‘uncomfortable’,” he said, rolling his eyes. “Uncomfortable is code word for ‘pinches like you wouldn’t believe’,” he said, pouting.
Bill gave him a skeptical glance. “That better be false contractions. I swear if you go into labor while I’m with you I will lose my shit,” he said and Andrej laughed.
“False, I swear. I’m only thirty-one and a half weeks, I’ve got another few months to go,” he pointed out and Bill shrugged.
“Alright, but as long as-“
“ACHOO!” Andrej’s sneeze was so loud Bill jumped and squeaked. Andrej blushed. “I’m so sorry,” he said, groaning. “I’m getting such a cold. I’m sneezing and coughing and my throat is killing me. It’s bad enough being pregnant without being sick too,” he said, then nodded. “You should get that for your niece,” he said, gesturing to the dress Bill had picked up.
Bill smiled. “Yeah, I think I will,” he said, then looked at Andrej. “You’re not so bad,” he admitted begrudgingly.
Andrej smiled. “You’re not terrible yourself,” he said, then grinned. “Only I’m still prettier.”

Tom was just coming down from having a shower when the door opened and he knew Bill was home. “Tom, we’re home!” Bill called, and Tom perked up at the mention of Andrej being there too.
When Tom got downstairs, he smiled at the sight of Andrej groaning and dropping onto the couch while Bill dropped bags all around the floor beside the couch. “Good God, what all did you two buy?” he asked, walking over to sit beside Andrej, putting a hand on his belly.
Andrej whined and wiggled until his head was in Tom’s lap, pouting up at him with watery eyes. “I’m sick,” he said, and Tom cringed.
“I’m sorry, baby,” he said, stroking Andrej’s hair back. “Do you want to stay here or go home?” he asked, kissing his forehead.
Bill snorted. “Seriously? You’re like that with him after a few days of dating?” he asked and Tom shot him a look. “Alright, alright, but don’t blame me for being confused by your dramatics!” he said, waving to Andrej as he walked upstairs.
Andrej smiled tiredly. “Will you get a driver to take me home? I would ask you to come but I don’t want you to miss more time with the band. Bill told me you guys were writing tomorrow,” he said.
Tom nodded. “Yeah, we are. It’s okay though. I can take you if you want,” he offered, and Andrej sniffled, shaking his head.
“It’s just a cold, I’ll be fine,” he said softly. “You can look through all the cool baby clothes with me while we wait for the driver to get here for me, though,” he said, sitting up, turning to dig into the bags. “We got enough clothes to probably clothe her for at least the first year,” he joked as he dug through the bags.
Tom simply sat watching Andrej’s smile as he fished out articles of clothing to show him. He was so beautiful it caused a physical ache in Tom’s chest whenever that sparkle in Andrej’s eyes was directed at him.

Tom was asleep when his phone ringing woke him. He fumbled around, knocking the phone off the bedside table as he tried to get it. He cursed and grumbled, falling out of the bed to get it as soon as he saw Andrej’s face on the screen as it lay on the floor. When he answered it, he groaned, rubbing his elbow. “Ja?”
“Tom?” Andrej said, voice rough and weak.
“Yeah, you alright?” Tom asked rolling onto his back sleepily. Andrej’s rough cough was enough to wake Tom up some. “Andrej?” he asked in concern.
“Tom, I’m sorry, but can you please come over?” Andrej asked, stopping to cough again, each one worse than the last. “I hate to say it, but I need somebody to take care of me,” he said weakly.
Tom frowned, sitting up. “What’s wrong? Are you alright?” he asked again.
Andrej groaned. “I’m sick-sick. I called my doctor before I went to bed and he said to take some medicine to get my fever down and drink lots of water, but right now I can barely haul my pregnant ass as far as the bathroom to pee from all the water I’m drinking,” he said weakly. “I’m really sorry, but I just need somebody to help me out,” he said weakly.
Tom yawned. “You sure you’re okay?” he asked, and Andrej grumbled an affirmative. “Sure, I’ll come over. I’ll bring stuff to make you tea and everything. And get you juice. And more medicine,” he said, standing tiredly. “I’ll be over soon.”
Andrej sighed softly. “Thank you, Tom. You do so much for me.”
Tom chuckled. “You’re going through pregnancy with my child, I have to do a lot for you, baby,” he said, shuffling to get dressed. “Be there soon.”

When Andrej woke up, it was to Tom sliding into bed next to him with a cup of tea. “Tom,” he said tiredly yawning.
Tom put a hand his face and cringed. “You’re burning up,” he said, helping Andrej sit.
Andrej nodded. “I feel like shit,” he said, taking the tea. He moaned as he sipped it. “It tastes like ass but it’s warm,” he said, and Tom chuckled, stroking his hair back from his face as he shuffled to let Andrej recline against his chest so he could hold him for warmth.
“Are you sure it’s okay?’ he asked, reaching under the covers to rub his belly carefully.
Andrej hummed. “She must be tired today, she hasn’t been moving that much,” he said, and Tom gave him a worried look. “I told the doctor and he said she’s probably fine, I may just be not noticing since I’m ill and she’s moving as much as ever,” he said. He sipped more tea. “He said as long as I can get my fever down and stay hydrated, I’m fine.”
Tom nodded, holding him as he drank his tea, finishing it off with some Tylenol for his fever. When he finished, Tom took the cup and laid it on the side table. “Just get some sleep. I was asleep when you called me.”
Andrej hummed, curling into his side. “I’m sorry,” he said, closing his eyes.
Tom shushed him and kissed his hair. “Just sleep, baby,” he said, cuddling him. “Hopefully you’ll feel better in the morning.”
Andrej hummed. “Will you make me more tea in the morning?” he asked sleepily.
Tom chuckled and nodded. “Of course, whatever you need.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tom woke up and left Andrej sleeping as he went to try and make something for Andrej to eat. He found some soup in the cabinet and went about making some soup and tea so Andrej could keep his strength up. He really worried about the younger man being so ill when he was pregnant. He knew the doctor said the baby would be fine but he had to worry.
Just as he was pouring the soup into a large bowl to cool, Tom heard a soft noise. He froze and strained his ears only to realize it was Andrej coughing weakly. He frowned because the night before Andrej’s coughs had been harsh, and these sounded very weak. He shook his head and went back to the soup, hoping to get Andrej something to eat. He got out the bottle of medicine and dropped it on the floor, cursing as he picked up the rattling bottle, only to freeze once again as he heard another sound.
“Tom? Toooom?” Tom put the bottle down and started towards Andrej’s room, alarmed at how tiny Andrej’s voice sounded. When he got to the bedroom, he felt his blood run cold as he saw Andrej sitting on the floor beside the bed. “Tom,” he croaked weakly, face full of distress.
“Andrej, are you alright?!” he asked, rushing over to kneel down beside him. He caught Andrej’s hand and felt of his face, hissing as he felt how hot Andrej’s skin was.
Andrej whimpered eyes glassy and dim. “I can’t walk,” he whined, clutching at Tom’s hand weakly. “I tried to get out of bed to go to the bathroom and I can’t hold myself up,” he said in a despairing voice. “Tom, I’m not okay,” he said, and Tom stood. “No, Tom-“ he started desperately, only to have Tom calm him.
“Shhhh, it’s okay,” Tom said, carefully helping Andrej to his feet. He held him around the waist and helped him walk to the bathroom. “Here, can you use it yourself while I go get your phone?” he asked, and Andrej nodded, holding onto the bathroom counter as he stood on his own. “If you feel too weak, sit on the floor, don’t try and stand until you fall down, okay?” he said, and Andrej nodded. He rushed out of the bathroom to go get Andrej’s phone. He found Andrej’s doctor’s number and started digging around in Andrej’s closet for clothes.
“Dr. Jones’s office, how may I help you?” a voice asked and Tom cleared his throat.
“Yes, is the doctor in this morning? This is a bit of an emergency call,” he said, and the woman connected him.
After a few moments waiting a voice came on the line. “This is Dr. Jones,” he said, and Tom sighed.
“Doctor, my name is Tom Kaulitz, we met when I was in with Andrej Pejic,” he started, and the man made a noise.
“Ah yes, you’re the father, right?” he asked, then cut himself off. “Is everything alright? Andrej called me last night saying he was ill-“
“He’s very ill,” Tom said. “I wasn’t sure if I should bring him to the hospital in his condition because the last thing I want is to take him to the emergency room and for him to get someone’s disease since he’s pregnant, but he’s very ill. His fever is so high he’s dizzy. He can’t even walk on his own, I had to help him off the floor after he got out of bed and couldn’t walk,” he explained. “Should he be alright or should I risk taking him out?” he asked in concern.
“Has he been taking acetaminophen to combat his fever?” the doctor inquired. “If you haven’t, try that first-“
“I’ve given him medication and it didn’t help much. It helped for a bit but not much. He’s coughing and sneezing and I keep giving him water but he’s sick. I’m really worried-“
The doctor cut him off with a shush. “Look, if his fever is staying high and not going down, especially with a high risk pregnancy like his, dehydration can be a sign of complications. Bring him to my office, not the emergency room, and if I think he’s ill enough to be admitted and put on an IV, we’ll directly admit him rather than expose him to diseases,” he said.
“Tom?” Andrej called and Tom rushed back to the bathroom, only to sigh when he found Andrej sitting on the floor, leaning against the sink, shivering. “Tom, I’m so cold,” he whispered, and Tom felt his heart clench when he saw how pained Andrej looked.
“Here, baby,” he said, kneeling, not caring that he was still on the phone. He handed Andrej the clothes and stroked his hair back. “I’m on the phone with your doctor, I’m going to take you to see him, alright?” he asked, and Andrej nodded weakly.
“I can’t walk that much,” he said weakly, and Tom sighed, kissing his burning forehead.
“I’ll help you, let’s just get you dressed and go,” he said, then held up the phone again. “I can bring him straight there, right?” he asked.
“Yes, I don’t like how faint his voice sounds. He shouldn’t be that weak,” the doctor said in parting, which did nothing to stop Tom’s worrying.
