Bill groaned, pulling his shirt back on. “Okay, really, the sex has to stop,” he said, and Georg raised an eyebrow, buckling his belt.

“The sex has to stop? You’re the one that called me over to go driving and then dragged me into your bedroom, Bill,” he said pointedly.

Bill flushed. “You looked sexy when I opened the door,” he defended. “But no, this is ridiculous. We’re grown ass men, not hormonal teenagers.”

Georg chuckled, going to kiss Bill as he put his hands on his hips. “Listen, I know things are different for you,” he said, smiling. “I know you got hurt and because of it you were cold for a long time. You’re just getting out all the years of repressing and I’m more than okay with a beautiful man wanting sex from me all the time,” he said and Bill snorted.

“I bet you are,” he said, then sighed. “I’m focusing on the wrong thing though. I’m supposed to be bringing you up to fifth and keeping my spot in second. Last thing I need to do is get distracted,” Bill said softly.

Georg smiled. “If you want to back off and have less sex to distract you, we can always try dinner and a movie?” he offered, taking Bill’s hands in his as he gave him a hopeful smile. “I’d love to take you out for a proper date.”

Bill smiled and nodded, kissing Georg again. “Okay, we did go about this kinda backwards. Coworkers, then friends, then sex, and now a date.”

“Well, we’ve both got track time today, let’s go,” Georg said and Bill nodded.

Rosetta smirked when she spotted Bill. “Pretty hickey you got there,” she said, wiggling her eyebrows. Bill flushed and ducked his head.

Kiro smirked. “Well then, who’s been giving you hickeys?” he asked, only to go wide eyed when Georg walked over, sporting some of his own. “Ah! That explains it,” he said. “Hey Listing!”

Georg looked up and smiled when he saw Bill. “Hey, weren’t you about to go out?” he asked.

Bill nodded. “I came to get Rosetta actually,” he said. “Her car is… not well,” he said, and Rosetta frowned.

“What?”

Bill nodded. “No run for you after me, sadly. Your car developed something in the engine and while testing it to see what was wrong, there was a minor engine explosion… so you’re stuck in the garage all day. They’ve even lent you Gustav,” he said and she grinned.

“Great! I love teasing him,” she said happily. “He likes it when I wear short skirts and bend over,” she said, wiggling her eyebrows. “He turns all red and stops speaking actual words,” she said with a giggle.

Georg snorted. “You’re evil,” he said pointedly. “That man really likes you. Not just the ‘hot girl who drives a fast car’ thing, he thinks you’re funny.”

Bill nodded. “Yep, he does. He is just too shy to flirt.”

Rosetta giggled. “Oh I love being pretty,” she said, turning to skip out, hair flouncing behind her. “Hey Schafer, I hear my car died!” she cried as she bounced to her bay.

Georg snorted. “That girl is something else,” he said. “Right, I’ve got a track to get on,” he said, grabbing his helmet. He smiled over at Bill. “Wish me luck,” he said, and Bill smiled.

“Good luck, Georg,” he said, smiling bashfully as Georg walked away. Kiro smiled.

“You like him,” he accused and Bill nodded.

Bill bit his lip. “I don’t want to talk about it, but let’s just say my past hasn’t been the best with boys and now there’s a hot man who gives me tons of sex and doesn’t seem like he’s going to run away anytime soon. He’s actually talking about real dating as it is. I haven’t had a relationship since I was eighteen so I’m really tempted, even if I don’t need the distraction,” he admitted. He stood up and walked over to where Kiro was organizing tools and started helping. “I can’t really advertise dating a co-worker though, so even if we do get into something more serious, it needs to be quiet.”

Kiro shrugged. “Well, it’s not professional. Whatever you guys do outside the workplace, you should remain professional,” he pointed out.

Bill nodded, then giggled. “Oh my God, I know you’re far from single, but readily available sex is fucking awesome! I’ve been celibate for three years, dude. Three years!”

Kiro smiled. “Well, I don’t see him as often as I did when we first started dating, but having a husband does help so you know that whenever you see him after a long time, he’s definitely gonna give you some,” he said, grinning. Kiro sighed, smiling sadly. “I miss him. He’s in England for the whole month doing some football correspondence,” he said softly. “I miss him more than I do the sex,” he said softly, looking down at the screwdriver in his hand.

Bill smiled. “Aww, you do miss him,” he said, poking him in the elbow.

Kiro giggled, shaking his head. “Look, it’s nothing like just dating someone, so I don’t expect you to understand, but I do really miss him,” he said. “The house feels empty without him there. I don’t like being at home longer than necessary. I’m used to sleeping without him because he’s always working odd hours or traveling for a few weeks at a time, but this is a whole month and the house feels so empty. He had to take most of his clothes with him for the long stay so the closet is so empty.”

Bill smiled. “Aww, that’s so sweet,” he said, then sighed dramatically. “Maybe when I’m older some day and it’s less of a bother, I’ll meet somebody and get married,” he allowed, gazing off into space.

Kiro smiled. “I would if I were you. Wait a while. I mean, I didn’t mean to get married this young, I wouldn’t recommend it, but I mean… the love of my life asked me to marry him… no way in hell was I saying no,” he said, smiling. “Ricky’s older than me, not too old, but older. He’s been married once before as well, but he says he didn’t want to wait to marry me.”

Bill frowned. “Why was he so eager to get remarried? I mean, he was divorced, but he isn’t that old, so it can’t have been long ago.”

Kiro grinned. “He married a girl when he was twenty, because he’s always wanted to get married and he was fighting his sexuality. When he finally realized he was as gay as it gets, he told her and she obviously divorced him. She was pissed, but he couldn’t help it,” he said, shrugging. “Then we met about two years ago and had been together less than a year when we got married,” he said with a smile. “It seemed too fast to everybody else, but I think I knew after just a month or so that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him,” he said, then giggled. “I’m so sappy about him and I never was before.”

Bill smiled. “That’s cute though. I mean, I don’t really know many gay couples who are so committed. Hell, straight couples either, for that matter. I mean, my mother and stepfather have been together for a long time and got married about two years ago, but our parents divorced when we were seven.”

Kiro shrugged. “Love hits you when you least expect it,” he said, slapping Bill’s elbow as he turned to go find some misplaced tools.

Rosetta sighed. “Gustav, is it dead?” she asked, looking at her mostly exploded engine.

Gustav nodded sadly. “I think we’ve got to replace the whole motor,” he informed her, then blushed when he noticed how close she was. “I- I- the um- the injection- the-“

Rosetta giggled. “You’re so shy,” she said, blushing some herself. It was hard to not be at all shy around a cute boy, even if she was having way too much fun to really care.

“Rosettta,” he whined and she pouted. “You’re so… Gah!” he cried, throwing his hands up as he stalked across the garage. “I’m going insane.” He turned back, kicking a box. “Look, you are beautiful and smart and it’s distracting!” he cried. “Hell, I could’ve broken that,” he said pointing at her car, not caring that the rest of Rosetta’s crew was watching. “I wouldn’t know! You come around and linger whenever I’m working and you wear tiny skirts and drag them even higher, and you just- you distract me!” He huffed. “And you do it on purpose! You get a rise out of making the ugly little fat mechanic turn all red and make a fool of himself!”

Rosetta just ducked her head. “Sorry,” she mumbled, then turned and all but ran away, cheeks bright red as she tried to get away before she heard the laughing and caught the teases she knew she would get eventually.

She rushed past Kiro and darted into the ladies room, sniffling as she shook, pushing her hair back. There was a knock and she whimpered. “Go away.”

“Rosetta?” Kiro asked, voice muffled by the door. “Rosetta, are you okay?”

She sighed. “Go away, Kiro.”

“Open the door, Rosetta.”

She sniffled. “No!” she argued petulantly.

Kiro pause then she heard him let out a frustrated noise. “Do not make me go find somebody to open this door. I will do it!”

She sighed and opened the door, only to find herself with an armful of Kiro. “I- I was teasing Gustav and he- he snapped and shouted at me and in front of everybody and he was angry and he said I did it all on purpose, and- and they all heard!” she whined, pouting with wide eyes.

Kiro sighed. “Well, I told you to ease up,” he said, and she glared.

“You said have fun!”

Kiro shrugged. “Eh, same difference.” Rosetta glared. “Look… he’s just overwhelmed. You may do push it too far,” he said and she just pouted. “Hey, don’t sweat it, you’re a big girl, you can go out there and show them you aren’t gonna take their shit. If anybody teases you, knock them out,” he said.

She giggled. “Angela would kill me.”

Kiro kissed her cheek. “Fuck Angela, be Rosetta.”

Rosetta nodded, smiling. “Thanks.”

Rosetta was one of the last ones in the garage, trying to fix a few faulty connections that she hadn’t wanted to keep her crew late for, when someone switched off her stereo. She jumped up so fast she smacked her head on the car. “Ow!” She cried, grabbing the top of her head with a pout.

“Are you alright?” a voice asked and Rosetta looked up, eyes wide when she saw Gustav stepping towards her.

“Oh, I’m fine. Just a bump,” she said, cringing as she rubbed it. “Um, did you need something?” she asked.

He sighed, cringing. “I wanted to apologize for shouting at you earlier.” He wrung his hands. “It was wrong of me to get angry at you. I’m really sorry,” he said.

She shrugged, sighing as she wiped at her forehead with the back of her hand. “Eh, it’s my fault. I do have too much fun teasing you with short skirts,” she admitted, smiling bashfully. Gustav snickered, biting his lip as he looked at her. Rosetta frowned. “What?”

Gustav chuckled. “You just smeared oil across your forehead,” he said and she frowned, wiping at her face only to groan. “Come here, let me,” he said, grabbing the red rag off the tool chest. He found a mostly clean spot and grabbed her face, wiping at her forehead. Rosetta frowned, looking up with crossed eyes, trying to see the spot. “That mostly got it,” he said, pulling away to smile at her messy face. “You’re really filthy,” he said and she giggled.

“Eh, I’m just fixing some faulty connections. Not going to a club,” she said, shrugging. “I’m wearing ratty jeans and a dirty white tee shirt for a reason,” she said, ducking back under the hood of the car.

Gustav walked over. “You know, I could help out, if you want. I mean, I’ve got nowhere better to be,” he said and she smiled.

“Thanks. I’m nearly done, just a few leads in here to look at,” she said, handing him a screwdriver. “Go wild.”

Gustav smiled, tossing his jacket across the side as he started checking the wires alongside Rosetta. Gustav was just tightening some screws when Rosetta grumbled and cursed as she tried to reach a loose wire. “Motherfucker, stop moving you piece of shit, son of a-“

“Do you need help?” Gustav asked, snickering.

Rosetta looked up and glared. “No, I need longer fingers,” she said, huffing.

Gustav smiled. “I’d offer to help but you’ve got longer arms than me,” he said, and she smiled shyly. “What do you need?” he asked, walking to her side.

She sighed. “I give up,” she said, pouting as she stood up and pushed a few loose hairs from out of her face, where they had fallen from her ponytail.

Gustav smiled, shaking his head. “Now you have grease all over your face,” he said and Rosetta sighed, shoulders slumping.

“I’m hopeless,” she said and Gustav laughed, shaking his head.

“Come here,” he said, grabbing a rag. “Hold still,” he said, reaching up to wipe off her face, smiling when she scrunched up her nose. “Hey, none of that, hold on,” he said, only to feel his smile falter and his hand still on her cheek when she opened her eyes and looked at him. She had the most beautiful gray eyes Gustav had ever seen. “Jesus, you’re beautiful,” he muttered, earning a shy smile.

“Even all greasy and icky?” she asked and Gustav nodded.

“Gorgeous,” he said softly, wiping at her cheek again, only to stop when she caught his wrist. “Rosetta?” he asked weakly.

Rosetta leaned in slowly, pressing her lips to Gustav’s gently. “When you call me beautiful,” she whispered, looking down at his mouth as she spoke, unable to meet his eyes. “You’re looking at my face.”

Gustav held her face gently. “Rosetta,” he said and she looked up. He kissed her softly, thumb sliding along her prominent cheek bone as she kissed back nervously. “Relax,” he whispered, moving his free hand to her hip as he pulled her closer.

Rosetta moaned softly as she slid her hands to his chest and kissed him back. “You taste like mint,” she whispered, and Gustav chuckled.

“You taste like cherry,” he countered, kissing her again. She whined, wrapping her arms around his shoulders as she pressed closer. Gustav’s hands curled around her tiny waist, one going to the small of her back as he tugged her fully into his arms.

Rosetta groaned, tugging out of the kiss. “Shit, we’re doing it again,” she said, looking at Gustav apologetically.

He smiled, shaking his head. “So?” Gustav kissed her again, just a small peck to the lips. “Rosetta, I just-“

She smiled bashfully. “I really like you,” she gushed, then ducked her head. “I mean… you’re sorta awesome.”

Gustav smiled. “You too,” he said, ducking his head as his cheeks turned pink. “I- um-“

Rosetta cut him off with a giggle. “Would you like to maybe help me finish these last few wires and then go get a late dinner with me?” she asked and Gustav smiled widely, shaking his head.

“I’m supposed to ask you out to dinner, aren’t I?” he asked, earning a giggle.

“It’s the twenty-first century, I think girls can ask boys out to dinner,” she said, then rolled her eyes as she turned back to the car. “Come on, I’m a skinny girl, I need food,” she joked and Gustav nodded, smiling.

“Alright, but I’m totally paying,” he countered, smiling.
