Oh God. That was close. Your Dad used good judgement as well as being a responsible adult. He stopped once he saw the gun. That stupid ignorant idiot (is there any way to convey how low I think of someone who can't be in public without picking a fight and having to kill someone else)was probably too macho to shoot a woman but not another man. Good judgement on your Dad's part. At the same time if it had been just two guys having a fight that he might have been able to break up *shrugs*. Here in Texas people will do that. Prudence says perhaps you should let the cops deal with it as they can shoot back or tasar the the guys if they can't act like civilized people.
Only thing stupider that I've heard of with 2 guys fighting each other is the ones where they bring their machetes with them. I probably live a sheltered life though. *sighs*
See, my dads the one that like... i dont wanna say tries to 'act the hero' cause he doesnt but like... if people are being assholes he doesnt have a problem telling them they need to leave sorta? Like, to ME its shocking when you see stuff on the news where nobody does anything. Like... this guy was in the line in Subway a few years back saying FILTHY things to the woman and my dad like... well first he told him he should respect the woman adn shut up and he didnt stop then said he'd kick his ass if he didnt shut up, still didnt stop, then he like... dragged the guy outside and thankfully some cops were getting lunch and were out there so they handled it
