Okay, many people have already noted 'oh, the summer's here! yay!' on twitter recently, and someone was like 'this summer, the weather has sucked' and EVERYONE was all 'WHAT?! NOO! FREE FROM WINTER!!'
I'd like to say, to everyone who has had pleasent summer weather so far- I HATE YOU!!!
Okay, if you glance at the weather channel website, you will notice that, no matter what, there is a strip covering the lower parts of Georgia and Alabama where it is drastically warmer than northern GA and Alabama, and shockingly, drastically warmer than FLORIDA to teh south.
You hear people talk about hot and mention the dessert...
There is a map on the weather channel website called 'current temps' and 'current heat index'.
For all you fuckers who live in Arizona and go 'oh man, you think YOU know hot?!?!' i'd like to direct you to the 'current heat index' button. See it? Yeah, When people go 'oooh, it's 105 in arizona!!!' the heat index says about 103 because of dry heat and dry winds.... take a looky at that strip in lower Georgia and notice the temperature will say '95' but the heat index will say '110'!!!!! NO breeze, STICKY HUMIDITY!!!
I live in the HOTTEST place in the US. Nobody can convince otherwise. Today, the 'current temp' thing says that, right now? it is only 90-92 degrees.... IT LIES!!! The 'current heat index' map shows 102!!!
You know what Arizona shows? 'Current temp- 88' 'current heat index-86'!!!!!!
*i actually have testimony. a nurse at my dentists office is from middle Arizona where she grew up thinking it couldn't get hotter... and then she moved here. She says she didn't know that a humid heat is a ZILLION times worse than dry, dessert heat.*
SO I HATE EVERYONE WHO IS HAVING NICE WEATHER THIS SUMMER!!! SUMMER IN MIDDLE/SOUTH GEORGIA?!?!?
