Liz stood in the lobby looking just a little uncomfortable. Her hair was down and she was clad in
new outfit that she had picked up on a whim. She didn't know she would be wearing it so soon. This was her first date since Max and it was with another alien and it felt... well, she felt a lot of things. She had to do something, though, as the more things lingered the way it was, the more she wanted to get close to Max again. She knew she shouldnt - couldn't - unless she wanted the world to end.
"Do you think things that happen here affect back home?"
"I hope so."
She sighed softly. If Max was right and they remembered things here, she couldn't let herself be weak and get close to him again. She had to make sure Max didn't love her anymore. And so, she had said yes to Roman. It still made her feel incredibly guilty.
For a moment she glanced to the lobby doors, as if considering to flee, but she didn't. Liz wasn't the sort to stand someone up. Besides, this was the right thing to do, right?
