The grocery store served as endless fascination for Jace. He never ate much; he was never hungry. But the kinds of food that were available caused him to wander the aisles without a cart, his hands in the pockets of his jacket, occasionally stopping to pick something up and look at it, perhaps smell it, then set it back down and move again. He wore his seraph blades strapped to his back, of course, Marks still on his skin out of habit. Maybe he'd take something to Antigone. He picked up something else: a DingDong. Smirking, he read the label, only paying peripheral to the dwarf who was bustling past him with a heaping cart of just the food he was putting back on the shelf.

Kili loved all manner of foods he could find here. Cookies, cakes, jellies, jams, breads, cheeses - the list went on and on and on. He was taking back to his room heaps of food; perhaps he would take some to Fili, to Red, or let Mattie have some, though she didn't seem to like his choices in food. He was grinning widely as he threw another box of cookies into his cart.
