Rapunzel had rare times when she didn't have her hair braided, and those days were because she had a plan. A very specific thing she wanted to do.
Today, she wants to read, and she wants to swing, so, she finds a good sturdy tree in the park, and swings part of her hair over the branch. She has so much, she can't even feel it, it's like working with rope. Then, she loops it over so that there's a nice seat. Perfect.
Sitting on her makeshift swing, she opens a book, every now and then stopping to people watch.
