"For totally going all the way, finally. And mostly by yourself, too. Makes a goddess proud, really." She put a hand to her chest to indicate dramatic feelings on the situation.
She rolled her eyes half way. "You mean to tell me you didn't have anyone pointing you in the red head's direction? Seriously. Because, you were totally clueless for a while there." Well, maybe not as clueless as other versions of him.
"I am an angel." Cas reminded her. Well, at least for now. "As in angels don't fall in love. You wouldn't begin to understand my complexities." Or internal dilemmas.
That probably wasn't true, but he thought since he couldn't figure it out then no one could.
"Yes, yes. And since you're an angel, you can't feel things. Blah, blah, blah." Aphrodite had lifted her hand and made a talking motion with her hand as if her fingers were her hands' mouth.
"You forget how many times we've have this conversation before, wing-boy. But then again, I forgot I'm a lowly Pagan goddess." Said with lots of sarcasm.
"But we've never had this conversation before." At least not this version of him. He still didn't like the idea of that, and he wasn't a fan of not remembering things.
"Anyway, I can obviously feel things, I'm not incapable of it." It's just relatively new.
"Better now that nothing is blocking my powers." He said gruffley. But it wasn't nice to know that he wouldn't have them much longer anyway.
Cas knew that wasn't quite what Aphrodite had in mind, but he didn't see the point in talking about his relationship with Anna. That was his own business.
"You can blame your brother for that one." Aphrodite figured out what had happened and felt a little bad, but then, it was kind of funny. Just not as funny had it been Lucifer. "It was meant for him."
"I know. And I accept your apology." It was obvious, the kind of people he was hanging out with considering how well he was learning this sarcasm thing.
"I thought it was just a normal drink." Cas' brows furrowed into a bit of a glare in her direction. "My powers were gone for almost a month. Mary Winchester almost died."
Aphrodite sent him a look right back. "Don't you go blaming that demon stuff on me." She wagged her finger at him. "I've helped those boys out more than you remember, so take that attitude elsewhere. Just because you were grounded for a while doesn't mean you had to be useless."
Okay, so, when Aphrodite had been human she had been entirely useless and quite annoying, but she wasn't going to admit that. She liked not to think about those times.
Her voice came first and then Aphrodite appeared in a shimmer of golden sparkles, hands on hips and bare-foot.

Cas' brows furrowed and he turned on the spot toward her.
"What are you talking about?"

"So, how are things going, Casanova?"

Of course, he couldn't just take her word for it.
