Bees [[Open to All]]
A lot was happening. Well, not here exactly. [[Cut for Spoilers for Season 8 Finale]] After finding out about the angels Falling, and what's to come, Castiel hasn't been quite the same. He's scared. He wont admit it just yet, but he is. And a bit distant.
And he might be using his powers a lot more now. Hell, if he's going to lose them he might as well use them now. So, he tried to be careful before, about 'blending in' with the humans, but now he's appearing out of nowhere more frequently and he's lost whatever appetite he had. No, he doesn't want to try that cherry flavored ice cream. He wants to just be an angel again, just for a little while, to not have these emotions and things.
He thinks back, trying to remember those times before the Winchesters, but then he realizes that there are literally gaps in his memory and how he likely has an explanation for it now: Naomi. He can't help but wonder what she did to him; what she made him forget.
He wonders if he's done even worse things than the things he remembers. Or, alternatively, maybe there are some very good things that he did once, for humanity, but he'll never know. Were all the angels' heads messed with, or just his?
Although he's trying this whole 'peace' thing here, he's a warrior at heart. A soldier. Cas wants to fight, to use his powers and do things that he knows he's very capable of. While he still can.
But, right now he's in the park sticking to watching a bees nest he's found in a nearby tree. He knows there's an apiary by the farms, and is currently wondering how best to transfer them there. Maybe he liked bees so much because their network reminded him of home.
