No career path was ever easy, she was told, and a few months of joining the clinic staff as a nurse in training, Anna could believe that. Weekend night shifts were the worst in her opinion, not just for the long hours but sometimes it was rather depressing to see the more sicker patients try to catch sleep when they couldn't. There was also the matter of just getting used to working through the night, something she feared she would never get used to. Thank goodness she had Sunday off. It was a day of rest after all, and that was exactly what she planned to do.

She decided to make a detor to the video store prior to going back to the hotel. To her knowledge, Mary hadn't been shown movies, which was a pity because some of them could be rather entertaining if the right one was chosen. Of course, that entirely mattered on the person viewing, and for someone new to movies, Anna felt that maybe one based on literature would do just the trick.

She finally settled on a few, checking them out and heading outside with a yawn. Perhaps she might pick up some coffee as well. Those hours were making her dead on her feet.

On her way to the street, she passed by a small, thin woman with strawberry blonde hair and a long, summer dress. Carrie was ashamed to admit that she had kept two library books overdue and was on her way to the library to return them. Taking a break from science and studying so called 'metaphysics (it had to be confessed that most of the time she read it for laughs), Carrie was going back to what could've been considered 'real' literature-though preferably something without romance. NPCSomeone in the shop thought she might be interested in something more along the lines of fantasy, given that it was surprisingly something both children and adults usually read.

It seemed as good an idea as anything else really.
