Fixing power. It was beneath him. He created, he didn't fix things. But with Mr MacRae standing over him, threatening him with that gun of his, even though he could heal faster than the oaf could take him down. Truth was, he was bored at not having any power to play with. At least if it was on, he could carry on his experiments. It got him a little further towards escaping this hell hole, anyway.
Declan walked away, leaving Nikola to work now that he was convinced that the vampire had started working properly. Much better. He didn't need an audience. The state of the electrics under the village were disgraceful. He half expected Edison to come out and claim responsibility for them. The man would have loved them. Maybe Nikola could begin upgrading them...
