It was convenient to go to the store, once in a while, to get food for dinner, but Robin felt more pride in catching his own game rather than going to a butcher and purchasing meat. Today he was looking for a buck. He had a few others would expressed desire for some venison and so he knew the animal would not go to waste if he killed one.
Dressed in leathers, he was following the trail of one through the forest and paused when he saw it off to the distance. He moved to hide himself from the buck behind some tall bushes. He pulled out an arrow and poised his recurve bow toward the animal. Then released.
