Beach Bonfire [tag Veronica, Oz, and Puck; dated to evening]
Claudia was finishing up a project at Lemondrop Labs. It was a small robotic spider, based vaguely on Fargo's bots, that would hopefully be like an extra set of hands, fetching things from around her space. She was tweaking it a little while waiting for Oz to arrive. She wanted to show him her lab space - he still hadn't been - and then they were going to walk together down to the beach where they'd meet Veronica and Puck.
It was sort of a double date, sort of just a chance for all of them to hang out. Veronica hadn't met Oz, after all, and Claudia had only meant Puck once in the arcade. Everyone was bringing snacks and towels - to lay on, even if they decided not to swim. Claudia was bringing her mini torch to light the fire, others were bringing wood. All in all, it should be fun, and she was glad they weren't just doing dinner-and-a-movie. Beach bonfires were more conducive to just... talking. Claudia had enjoyed her talk with Veronica - it had been sort of cathartic. She was enjoying being back here, getting back into the swing of things. And it helped that she now knew where she stood with Oz. A thought occurred to her - Oz ought to bring his guitar, they out to play a few things, mess around a little. But she'd forgotten to mention it. Oh well - maybe he'd thought of it, too. And she wasn't sure she really wanted to play in front of an audience, however small.
