Jo was in a relatively good mood despite the fact that she was now a year older.  She wasn't quite sure if she still got to celebrate birthdays after dying but it seemed stupid to ignore the day that she had been born.  Not that she had any real idea what it was that she wanted to do today but she figured she should at least do something.

She was sure most people would suggest shopping or something, at least until she could go and get drunk.  Not that she couldn't get drunk right now but she didn't think it would go over very well if she went and got drunk in the middle of the day.  Her mother would sure have something to say about it, even if Ellen did run a bar.  So Jo settled on a cherry slushie instead, sipping it slowly through a bright green straw, as she made her way down the street.

So far she was window shopping because nothing had really caught her attention but she figured she would find something eventually.  Maybe some new jeans or even a skirt if she was feeling daring enough.  Tilting her head, she sipped her slushie again as she also considered the idea of getting some kind of treat.  Most people liked cake on their birthdays, right?

Maybe she'd find a nice slice of cheesecake somewhere.
