Anne had settled in at the hotel after a little bit, and she was beginning to become content with her situation. She figured being here was better than being dead, and she was attempting to make the best of things

When Guinevere had found out about the amount of books that this place had on offer she was more than willing to go to it. Given her station, books were not so easy to come by, so a library was a far more luxurious thing than some of the other new things she had come across here. But she didn't know where to start, how could she? With so many subjects and varieties of books a person could be forgiven for wandering aimlessly for a while.
When she walked into a new area it was quiet. She could only see another woman close by and began to walk a bit slower. She knew that those who came here may be trying to think or concentrate on something and she really didn't want to interrupt or distract her.
Anne had been looking at an encyclopedia, but eventually put it down. She needed a bit of a break from reading so much. When she heard footsteps nearby, she turned towards the sound, curious.
She saw the strange woman and smiled. Anne was always up for meeting new people, and she figured she needed to start somewhere.
"Hello," she said softly--she was in a library, after all.
Gwen looked away from the shelves when she heard the other one speak. Biting her lip, she looked to her and felt slightly guilty. She knew that anyone could go anywhere in this place but that didn't mean that she was fine with interrupting the other woman.
"Sorry," Gwen replied just as quietly. "I didn't mean to disturb you."
She really didn't. Perhaps she should leave the woman to her reading now.
Anne shook her head. "You didn't disturb me at all. I was taking a break from my readings, actually."
She paused, smiling still. "Perhaps I should introduce myself? My name is Anne Boleyn." She was hoping that this woman would be friendly as well.
"I was reading--well, looking for information on myself," she explained. "Apparently I've become quite famous in my world." She laughed a little. "Silly, isn't it?"
Gwen smiled at that, stepping a little closer. Perhaps it was better to be polite even if she still felt like she was disturbing the other woman. But if she had the chance to meet someone new, another woman to talk to in this place, then maybe she would have some more people to talk to.
"I'm Guinevere. Or Gwen, most people call me Gwen that is. It's nice to meet you."
Gwen's eyebrow rose at that. Books on herself? That must be an insane experience. Then again all of this was insane.
"Guinevere? That's a pretty name," Anne replied. "It's nice to meet you as well. And yes, it is strange--surreal, really. But fascinating at the same time."
She had to admit she liked learning what others thought about her. She wanted to see if she had left a legacy behind, and in some respects, she had. That pleased her more than she necessarily wanted to admit--she didn't want to seem vain.
Gwen gave a smile at the compliment but was unsure what to say. The automatic reaction would be a thank you, but it wasn't exactly something that she could thank someone over liking. It wasn't something she really had control over.
"I don't know if I could find it fascinating, but each person feels differently when it comes to certain aspects of themselves."
Though Gwen really did doubt that she would ever be written about.
She laughed a little, lightly. "I see what you mean. I don't want you to think me vain--at least, I certainly hope you don't."
She was merely curious--Anne had long since gotten over her delusions of herself. She knew she had been vain and self-centered when she was younger, and she was determined to put that behind her.
"Oh no. I don't really make snap judgements about people. Well I try not to."
She had always thought Arthur a bully through and through as she grew up but now, she had realised that there was often more to a person than what they allowed you to see.
“Really, I should let you get back to your reading.”
Even if she was asking she didn’t want to impose. She was slightly worried that the offer was only there because Anne felt obliged to ask. And she would not stay there just because the other woman thought she had to ask her to stay.
Gwen took a moment before moving to sit. She wasn't going to turn down a genuine request, especially when she had yet to meet many new people here. The more she knew, then perhaps the better this place would become.
“I know how that feels, certainly,” Gwen replied with a slight smile. She really should do more to meet people but she wasn’t so sure considering the place they were now in. “But I’m sure it will hopefully change soon.”
Anne nodded. "I hope it does too. I don't want to seem rude and stay by myself all the time."
She paused and smiled at Gwen before continuing. "Tell me about where you're from." Anne laughed a little then. "I hope I don't seem intrusive--I'm merely curious. And I'll tell you about England as well, don't worry."

She didn't want to seem desperate, but part of Anne really did want to make new friends here.
