Anne had settled in at the hotel after a little bit, and she was beginning to become content with her situation. She figured being here was better than being dead, and she was attempting to make the best of things.
She had been spending a lot of time at the library in the past few days, looking up books on her daughter, Elizabeth. When she found biographies or even encyclopedia entries about her, she read them thoroughly, trying to soak up every last detail. It was her way of getting close to Elizabeth, of reaching out even though she couldn't touch her or see her.
And again today, Anne could be found in the library, pouring over some books on Renaissance history. This time she was researching a different person--herself.
She was more than willing to be interrupted, however, as she was almost getting overwhelmed with the amount of information she had found.
