Going the Distance (closed)
Summer was quickly ending and school was just around the corner. It was something that Zenon was well aware of and something she wasn't looking forward too. School was alright, but summer was way better. School meant homework and tests and less time to play and hang out, even if all her friends were gone now, including Scorpius. She still found herself once in a while picking up her sidekick and trying to message Scorpius, only to find that he was no longer on the list.
Today Zenon planned on having a movie day. She had rented a bunch of musicals from the twentieth century that were supposed to be 'entertaining' and she was looking forward to seeing them for the first time. After feeding Trooper, she made her way to her room where she sat down and reached for her computer to play the movies.

The voice sounded a lot like Nebula's, but Zenon knew that her friend wasn't here.
Zenon!
Zenon blinked and she suddenly found herself sitting at her computer desk in the middle of class with Nebula sitting beside her with a 'you're going to get in trouble!' look. Zenon felt a flash of regret wash through her and opened her mouth to tell Nebula all about her adventure when the teacher walked by with a stern look - she'd tell Neb later.
Back in the village, she left behind only a neon pink running show, a sparkling hair clip, and bed that was rumpled from being sat on.
