When Chuck arrived at TRON that morning, he was surprised to find that Gus hadn't been at the shop all weekend, but he quickly waved the thought away considering it was the weekend and most people didn't want to work anyways. Sarah hadn't figured out how they had failed to have their date yet. It just seemed to keep falling through, which was frustrating, especially given Casey's news about things to come back home. Part of her just wanted to know that they had something good, at some point, especially if things were about to get so dire.

But, if it wasn't a date, she did, at least, volunteer to make the sandwich run at lunch time, for the arcade staff. Yes, they had their own snack bar, but there were only so many days you could have pretzels and pizza or nachos before you wanted to gag at the idea.

"Hey there," she said, coming in with a sunny smile.

Chuck looked up suddenly from his chin-in-hand position at the counter and jerked to straighten up which resulted in Chuck's elbow slipping on the counter. He stopped himself in time though and stood up, recovering from the klutzy move. "Hey." He smiled back, a little like a teenage kid when the cheerleader actually acknowledged your existence.

Sarah smiled a bit at the semi-awkardness of Chuck's move, and the way he smiled at her that never failed to give her butterflies in her stomach like she was the kid she'd never really gotten to be.

"I had to fight Morgan for the right to come get lunch for the arcade employees," she joked with a grin, coming over to lean against the counter.

"Really? I'm surprised he didn't challenge you to a fight in Marvel Vs. Capcom for the honour." Chuck wasn't sure how Sarah would fair in a fighting video game, though he knew who would win if it was real hand-to-hand.
