Six piles of books and God knows how much coffee later and Mulder had determined one thing: the village was a time rip. It was the only thing that remotely made sense and, since that whole incident off Bermuda, he was pretty apt to believe it. Of course, unlike Bermuda, it seemed to be later than 1999 and, well, Scully was pretty much Scully.
