In Boston, there hadn't been much chance to go swimming, not really. And once they started doing God's work, there hadn't been much time. But here, in the village? After they got off work, well, they had time to themselves! No justice needing doling out ( Read more... )

Rather than outraged voices they might hear an amused laugh, the source of the laugh was a familiar figure in a body skimming black one piece, sunglasses shading her eyes and her hair in a messy knot.

"Having fun boys?"

Murphy stopped splashing Connor and then looked around, swimming in a slow circle for the source of the voice.

He found it and then grinned.

"Always. We Irish know how to have fun, eh?" he replied, brogue thick while kicking underwater and connecting with a Connor body part.

"If memory serves," she chuckled again, smiling at their antics. "You do know how to have fun."

"Aye." Connor's answer came out in a grunt at being kicked in the fucking gut! Murphy.

Connor pulled at that foot, til he could get a hand on his shoulder and dunk his brother. Then he grinned at River. "And how are you?"

"Better now," she wondered as she watched them what it would have been like having a sibling.

Murphy was struggling underwater and both River and Connor would see nothing but splashing water until he got free and spluttered to the surface.

"Eh, fuck you!" He told Connor, pushing his brother before turning back to River. (That was what it was like having a sibling.)

"You gonna come in?" Murph asked, even waving a hand, smile inviting.

Having a sibling, always looked good from the outside.

"Wasn't planning on it," she had a book and an iced tea and she was lazing in the sun. "But I could be convinced to get wet."

Double entendre anyone?

The McManuses shared a look then both turned, almost in unison to smile at her. "C'mon in, River. The water's fine," Connor said. Or they could come get her.

She rose gracefully, discarding her sunglasses on her chair and loosing her hair as she approached the edge of the pool. She looked down at them and winked before she dove smoothly into the pool.

She surfaced a little distance away from them and pushed her hair off her face.

Well wasn't the a pretty sight. Murphy's quick sidelong glance at his brother would tell him that, and that they were likely thinking the same.

Murphy swam toward River, grinning as the water lapped around them.

"Guess you're wet now, huh?"

"Mmmm," she agreed with a laugh, wet her bathing suit molded to her like a second skin, the thin material opaque but not hiding muchas it clung to her.

"Hard not to be," she flicked her gaze over his bare chest, then over to his brother.

With a look, Connor told Murphy to take the other flank and he walked up to her side, hand landing in the small of her back.

He liked River; she suited them. So there was no sense in wasting time; he leaned in, nuzzling behind her ear.

Likewise, they suited her, they had no interest in her heart only her body and possibly her friendship. It was light, easy, and scratched an itch none of her other lovers did simply because there were two of them.

She hoped, she gave them as much. But as they moved close, hands sliding over water slicked skin she didn't care.

Always the more playful one, Murphy let out a stifled chuckle, moving in front of River with an enticing grin after he watched his brother's mouth descend on her skin. Fucking hot.

Under the water, he grazed a hand over her breast before slipping down to hold her at the hip. He said a gravelly, "hi," grinning again before Murphy pressed his lips to River's.

Now this was a swimming party.

She'd have answered, but his mouth was on hers and really who needed to talk. She floated back against Conner as she kissed Murphy, one arm looping around his shoulders as her other slid back to curve around Connor's hip.

If swimming was like this, you could make damned sure that Connor and Murphy would be doing more of this. Connor slid in behind River, there, hips against her ass.

They'd need to move it to a room soon, he thought. In a minute.
