Jobs & Places

May 14, 2006 10:38

The village will allow tabs, but tabs must eventually be paid. If your pup does not work, s/he needs to have a source of income.

To request a job/place of business please reply to this post. Please do not assume that large buildings/businesses have appeared without placing a request here and obtaining mod approval.

If your pup is interested in working in any of the shops that have a PC Owner/Manager, you must contact the pup in charge to see if there is a need for employees.

If your pup does something that contributes to the community, even if it is not an official job, drop a comment here and we'll let you know if it qualifies for work, per the village. The village respects writing as a viable occupation, if the pup is actually writing, and writing with intent to share with the community.

The village really does try to accommodate.

The Haurvatat Map is located here, if you would like to select a location for new/existing as yet located places please tag requests there.

NOTE: Anything considered 'normal' usage of the business during its open hours is acceptable unless otherwise defined. For example, it is fine for anyone who wishes to do so to tag into the music shop and browse the music and CDs, try out the instruments and so on during open hours. It is NOT all right to break in after hours without the owner-mun's permission.

Exceptions to "normal use"--the kind of thing you have to have permission for--include use of anywhere in the place designated 'private' in the place description (i.e., the office in the music store) or a use of the place that's not usual, i.e. a bachelor party in the grocery store.

This rule allows players to use the business as intended even if the person who plays the owner/manager is not around due to time zones, real life, etc.

Fangtasia II: A bar where the patrons can explore the darker side of the night. With a vampire owner, and vampire staff, all things Goth are celebrated here. Dark booths, velvet drapes, antique-looking furnishings all give it an air of decadent times gone by with a sinister edge. It's ultimately a safe place to indulge, however, with strict rules about non-consensual violence (i.e. no biting on premises without willing--not coerced--consent). All the drinks have themed names, of course, to something more sinister sounding, and the bar serves True Blood for the blood drinking guests. In the very back of the bar is the VIP room. This is far less ostentatious, actually, but very elite. It's the room for vampires, shapeshifters, demons and witches to be who they are freely, and humans are only allowed back there with a supernatural escort.
