[Journal] I Remember Water
Fakir gave me this journal. He said that I should record my thoughts in it. He said I might remember something.
But I don't remember anything. Just water. Water and fish. One of the servants in the palace told me that's because I was shipwrecked. That's when a ship crashes in the sea. If it's bad enough people might fall into the water. I asked her if that meant people would drown, and she said sometimes they do, but not always. She told me Prince Fakir fell off a boat a while ago, and everyone was worried that he had drowned, but he washed up on shore alive. I asked her if he forgot everything, too, but she said no, he could remember everything before he fell out of the boat. The only part he doesn't remember is when he was in the water.
But all I remember is water.
And the beach. And Fakir finding me there and giving me a shirt to wear. People need to wear clothes. I don't know why. Fakir said so. But I don't really care about wearing the shirt one way or the other.
Fakir tells people what to do a lot. But his regent tells him what to do a lot, too.
There's a nest in the tree outside my window. There's birds there. Some are smaller than others. Fakir said those were babies, idiot. That means they're younger. They can't fly yet. Only the mother can fly.
And that's all of my thoughts. I'm going to go dance.
