Sungmin’s stomach was growling, he forgot he missed breakfast today. And all that running around didn’t help either. The boy put his hand over his stomach, attempting to stop it from misbehaving, but then Sungmin’s stomach scrunched up for a different reason. Just as the boy was entering the dining hall, his roommate, Kyuhyun was leaving.

Kyuhyun smirked, eyes darkly laughing at Sungmin as he cooly approached the boy. Leaning closely towards Sungmin’s ear, he handled him a paired of batteries.

“Don’t mess with me because I bite back,” Kyuhyun said in a deep-low-seductive whisper, which gave Sungmin goosebumps. The younger continued walking while Sungmin was frozen, staring at the object in his palm. Batteries? Sungmin’s eyes widened in realization. Fucking bastard, he took out the batteries! Growling, he sharply turned around to find Kyuhyun gone.

The younger was hiding behind a wall, enjoying the site of a very frustrated Sungmin. I’m not done yet, he grinned, disappearing in the shadows.

Eunhyuk was very embarrassed, but he had no choice. He took a deep breath to calm his blushing face as he walked into the tech(nology) lab. He approached the reception’s desk, putting his laptop on the counter.

“How can I help you?” the lovely receptionist greeted him with a smile.

“My computer won’t start up, I was wondering if one of the lab tech guys can fix it?”

“Did you plug it in? Is it fully charged?” The girl replied smiling.

“Of course, it’s charged!” He wasn’t that dumb with computers, if only this girl knew that he can hack into any computer system including foreign governments, she would refrain from teasing him. The dancer huffed, clearly annoyed by this dim-witted girl. This is why he hated going to the lab because, truthfully, he was smarter than anyone there when it came to computers. But of course, it didn’t hurt to try.

“Follow me, I know just the guy,” she said very bubbly. “He’s a genius when it comes to computers,” she smiled and then whispered, “sadly lacking that genius-ness in other departments.”

Eunhyuk smiled, trying very hard not to laugh at the last sentence the girl uttered. So Bubbly has a crush on this genius.

They approached a boy who’s back was towards them, busy rearranging and taking apart what looked like a flat green plastic board with wires and microchips attached to it (a.k.a motherboard of a computer).

“Donghae,” the girl was clearly using her sweetest voice.

“I’m kinda busy,” Donghae replied, replacing a chip in the far left side of the motherboard with a pair of tongs (the main part of the tower in desktop computers).

“But this will probably just take you a second,” the girl whined, trying to pursued him with a cute pout.

“Alright,” the boy took of his goggles and turned around, his eyes enlarged at the boy standing next to her, completely ignoring the pouting girl.

“Hi,” Eunhyuk said shyly, waving weakly, completely surprised to see that boy here.

Donghae smiled, “miss me so soon,” the boy teased.

The girl looked back at Eunhyuk, jealously saying, “you two know each other?”

“Thanks Jessica, I’ll take it from here,” Donghae said, grabbing Eunhyuk’s arm and leading him to his station. The girl reluctantly returned back to the reception desk, her bubbly-ness complete gone.

“You work here?” Eunhyuk said, trying to feed his curiosity.

“Yeah, the teacher was so impressed with my skills that he offered me a job and a free pass on any exam including the final. Apparently they desperately need a genius like me,” Donghae said proudly. “So what can I do for you?” Donghae said, eyeing the monkey’s laptop.

You can do a lot of things for me, Eunhyuk thought, immediately blushing. “Ummmm, it won’t start,” the boy handed Donghae the computer, “and it’s fully charged.”

The computer genius smiled at the last part, he pushed the on button of the laptop. He carefully analyzed it. The on/off button was lighting up, clearly showing the computer was on and not sleeping. Upon hearing the RAM drive firing up by making slight noises, he knew the computer was working except for the completely black monitor screen.

“The problem is the monitor,” Donghae stated.

“I know it’s the monitor, I need to know if you can fix it. Usually you’ll find monitor problems on desktop computers not laptops since their components are integrated,” the monkey stated.

Donghae was impressed, only people who build computers from scratch knew that, Donghae was getting curious. “Then it must be a virus, there is no other possibility.”

“Can you fix it? I want to reboot the system, but I don’t have the proper tools,” Eunhyuk said eyeing the different pieces of metal on Donghae’s work place.

“I can fix it,” Donghae said confidently. “Just give me your room number and I’ll drop it off later. I really need to fix Dr. Joong’s computer before 4 today, I’m sorry.”

“Oh yeah, sure no problem. Thanks...um...?”

“Donghae,” the fish gave him his hand.

“Eunhyuk,” the other continued, shaking it.

Yesung was completely flabbergasted, Ryeowook turned out to be a very smart and fun person to hang out with, he couldn’t ask for a better project partner. They bonded over their homework for architecture class.

“You are a complete genius!” Yesung smiled, getting excited for their new project design. “We are so totally going to win.”

“Win what?” Taemin said curiously, entering their room just in time to find his roommate and a boy on the floor with random sheets of paper everywhere. “And what happened to my room?”

“For now, it’s a temporarily design studio,” Ryeowook got up to greet the boy. “We’ve meet before,” the boy said, smiling. “My name is Ryeowook,” he stated, offering his hand.

“Oh yes, I remember you,” Taemin replied teasingly, his eyes flickered to Yesung while shaking Ryeowook’s hand. Should I torture Yesung, the youngest questioned himself.

“Taemin, we’re kinda busy,” Yesung said quickly, reading Taemin’s mind. “Planning our design for the new library the school is building, it’s our first assignment.”

“And the winning design gets an A and the only extra credit offered,” Ryeowook added on.

“So it’s important if you leave us alone so we can do our work without any distractions,” Yesung said smiling, secretly giving Taemin a warning.

Taemin smiled. He clearly got the hint, but he was in a playful mood, “but hyung, where will I go?” The youngest plastered a hopeless expression on. “Since you’re kicking me from my own room,” he said pouting.

Yesung was get irritated, he knew perfectly well that Taemin was playing a game. Ryeowook, on the other hand, immediately felt guilty.

“You can stay in my room for now, it’s right across from this one,” the boy suggested.

Taemin lit up and enthusiastically said, “that’s a great idea, thanks hyung.” He hugged the skinny boy and rushed off to Minho’s room. Secretly grinning inside, that was too easy.

"So let's begin drawing," Yesung said, concentrating on their homework after Taemin left.

Ryeowook had another plan in mind as he closed the door and locked it behind him. Smirking, he said, "Yes, let's have some fun."

Yesung swallowed hard, why did he lock the door?
