Today is the day, Minho said to himself as he headed towards the science building. He was the only one of the group that was a science major, Chemistry to be exact. He loved the first day of school. It was so full of mystery; who will be in his class, is the teacher exciting, what type of lab experiments will they be doing, and so on. Minho was walking briskly as these thoughts rushed to his head, confidence overflowing as each boy stoled glances at him. I wonder who will be my lab partner?
He was about to climb the stairs towards the entrance, when suddenly his senses sharped. There was a soft snap of twigs breaking. The surroundings was much to quiet, abnormally quiet for any activity to occur. A gentle breeze every now and then, but no voices. He felt like he was being watched, being followed. Minho quickly turned around, surprised to find no one behind him. Was he wrong, was he just imaging things. He began scanning every bush, every tree, every light post for the slightest movement. Sharp brown orbs enlarged, but nothing was out of the ordinary. Sighing, he turned back at the door surprised to see Taemin in front of him. The younger gave him a warm smile.
“Do you know where the music department is...” Taemin said making an annoyed face, “apparently this is the science building.”
Minho smiled, of course he would get lost. Looking at his watch, he calculated how much time he had left before class. “I can take you there,” he said sweetly as Taemin beamed.
“Really? Thank you!”
Minho just smiled as they began walking towards the music department together, which was right next to the science building.
“So... I’m guessing you’re majoring in music,” Minho question the younger, scratching his head.
Taemin laughed joyfully, making Minho’s ears turn red from embarrassment of that obvious statement. “Yeah, I want to be a singer one day,” Taemin was grinning, “and you?”
“Chemistry,” Minho replied shorty, still feeling nervous for some reason. He didn’t want to mess up again.
Sensing the boy’s nervousness Taemin joked, “and you look like that!” The boy was pretending to be shocked, “where are the big, black, bold glasses and where is this fashion sense coming from!”
Minho laughed, “there are a lot of good looking guys that major in Chemistry.” They were at the entrance now. Minho faced the boy, completely captivated by his innocent charm.
“Really... because I only see one,” Taemin said, moving closer, still beaming from laughter.
Minho could feel the blood rushing to his cheeks. Looking down, he said “I need to go to class now. Bye.” The boy said rushing back towards the science building.
Taemin eyes narrowed as he tilt his head to the side. I need to be more careful next time when I follow him, he thought, slyly smiling to himself.

Although Yesung was early for his next class, most of the seats were already filled with eager students busily chatting. The classroom was small. There were three rows of five separated desks, each paired with two chairs. He strolled to the middle section of the classroom, sitting in a desk with two empty chairs. Not wanting anyone for a partner, he placed his bag in the empty seat next to him. Bored, he stared at the clock, ten more minutes. Shrugging to himself, he took out “Today’s World Wonders” and began reading about how the Australians designed their famous opera house. He was so absorbed into the pictures of the architectural wonder that he didn’t noticed the classroom starting to fill up or even the professor arriving.
“Is someone sitting here?”
Yesung was about to say yes, but when he saw who it was, his mouth was left hanging open.
The boy from last night was smiling widely at his reaction. Yesung looked around, noticing that there were no more seats left, he took his bag from the seat. “Ummm, no.”
“Thanks for saving me a seat,” the boy giggled, teasing Yesung, knowing he realized him from last night.
“I wasn’t saving it for you, especially after last night. You’re the last person I want siting next to me.” Yesung said looking straight ahead with arms crossed. He was purposely not making any eye contact with the annoying boy. Just my luck, Yesung thought, biting his lower lip. Ryeowook continued smiling.
“Hello class,” the professor said enthusiastically. “My name is Dr. Sung and welcome to the world of architecture. I hope you’re comfortable with the person siting next to you, because they will be your new project partner.” The students started chatting again while the professor was busy playing with the projector.
Yesung sighed, great, he thought sarcastically.
Ryeowook offered his hand. Yesung looked at it, his hands still cross in front of his chest. “We should be nice to each other since we’re project buddies,” the boy insisted, Yesung shook his hand limply.
“Yesung.”
The boy was beaming again, “Ryeowook.”
Just two more hours, Yesung thought as the professor began to lecture.

Sungmin burst open the door, out of breath he said, “sorryimlate, icouldntfind...” He stared at an empty classroom.
“NOT AGAIN!” This was the second time today! He completely missed his first class because he went to the arts department for his math class and now this. He looked at the schedule Ryeowook printed for him, it was the right room number, so where is everybody? Is class canceled, I don’t see a note.
Angry, he stormed off to Eunhyuk’s room. Today was the worst day ever!

“This is completely weird,” the dancer said, scratching his head.
“What is?” Sungmin questioned, hovering over him, looking at the computer screen.
“Well on your schedule it says DS201, but on the catalog it says AR540,” the boy said comparing the two windows on the computer screen.
“Why is it different?”
“Give me a minute to check the school’s mainframe.”
“Fine, I’ll get us something to eat from downstairs,” Sungmin said. Pinching the bridge of his nose, he felt a headache about to start.
